The Hosteller Shimla

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Hosteller Shimla, and it was an outstanding experience. The location is perfect, offering breathtaking views of the mountains and easy access to key attractions in Shimla. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, providing a cozy and relaxing environment.The staff at The Hosteller are incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with a smile. The common areas are vibrant and welcoming, perfect for meeting fellow travelers and sharing stories. The hostel also offers a range of activities and tours, making it easy to explore Shimla and its surroundings.The on-site facilities, including the café and lounge areas, are top-notch, providing delicious food and a great place to unwind. The Wi-Fi is reliable, which is a huge plus for staying connected.Overall, The Hosteller Shimla exceeded my expectations in every way. It's the perfect place for travelers looking for a blend of comfort, community, and adventure. I highly recommend it and look forward to visiting again!

Nice and clean. Cleanliness is its usp. Hats off to the management. Cleanliness is an alien concept in india and more so in The Hosteller Shimlas where earlier only high payers were guaranteed hygiene, a basic necessity and health requirement. The food was nice and another huge usp - free drinking h2o there are a few niggles though. Climbing up the upper bunk is chore, a hazard. Please provide a handle to make it easy. Another sore point is people using mobile and worse drinking in the dorm and becoming unruly. The management must make surprise checks and give the facility for anonymous reporting. The staff are pleasant, foods toothsome albeit on a higher side. Will surely "re-stay"

I recently had the pleasure of staying at 'the hos-teller shimla, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The location is stunning, offering breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere that instantly put me at ease. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that every need was met with a smile. The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and beautifully decorated, providing a perfect blend of comfort. The amenities were great, particularly enjoyed the hand football, view from the top floor, which added a special touch to my stay. Can't wait to visit again at this property.

Pros: room and bathroom was clean. All the basic amenities were there. Entire property was very aesthetic. Staff was friendly. Cons: it is located at the top. If you are not going by car, it's a long walk from lift. Since it's for solo travellers mainly, it's a bit noisy. The room given to us had a partition with other room which was cover with a wooden patch. Due to which, sound was travel-ling from one room to another clearly. Tip: if you are going solo or with a group, go for it. Don't walk from lift to The Hosteller Shimla unless you are in mood for trekking. Hire a cab

Good experience. Near to ridge, mall road, easily accessible. I booked a deluxe room for my stay. Room was cleaned & everything was well arranged, except for the pillow and blanket, they both were okish, lilo bit untidy. But the whole atmosphere and vibe was still better than other The Hosteller Shimlas. One thing i really liked was that they had a glass bottle in the room and water dispenser facility on every floor, which was sustainable, instead of giving plastic water bottles.

It was really a great stay with the hos-teller shimla, i went there as a solo traveler but after reaching there i found hos-teller staff very friendly and co travellers who were in the dorm they were really amazing. The location is very close to the mall road and the price of the stay was worth it. I can say you will never be disappointed with the facilities of the hosteller. Overall my stay was excellent and amazing.

I found this property through mm t while scrolling through the The Hosteller Shimlas available in shimla. The The Hosteller Shimla is on a top, so reaching there was a bit of a hassle but other than that everything was good. The staff were well mannered and helpful, the rooms were thoroughly cleaned. There is food available, but the taste was ok. So i would rate 4. 5/5.

Excellent service and pretty room with a good view and it war very mearby to the ridge so we disnt miss out

Really nice The Hosteller Shimla, the room was big with everything we needed (table, kettle, chairs…). The location is good. The staff is really nice also. I advise to stay there!

What the hostel is promising to give their travelers they give more than that in terms of services and amenities. Very clean rooms, beds, bathrooms, gallery and community areas. Well intention-ed thought to give comforts to their visitors.

Location is good but not in the prime spot. One need to walk a bit to reach this property. The locals largely knows this property. Rooms were clean, hot water was available, courteous staff to help and food was good too. The rope car is very nearby. If you love walking you will love this place.

Nice and clean but location is difficult to reach. Otherwise decent stay. Too crowded. Very small room for a 6 bed dormitory.

It was great to stay in the hosteller as it is on walking distance to mall road and jakhu temple. The property is well maintained and the staff is polite and attentive to your needs.

Went with a group of three, faced no problems in staying with them, every facility has been availed but there are too much add on charges on basic things such as towels, hair dryer etc. Which should be provided in a complimentary manner.

Best hostel for solo travelers. Room and restrooms were clean. Few minutes walking distance from mall road.

It was a very good experience. The staff and the rooms were amazing. Me and friends had a lot of fun, they also have games at the reception
