Amazing experience, the best thing about Hosteller is their service. The Glu app is a game-changer. The location is near the railway station, so it's very convenient. The portion size of the meal could be enhanced. We ordered a soup bowl, which was good in taste, but the portion size was below expectations. But apart from that, it was a great experience.

Overall great experience- good stay, good location, great food. But one thing that was not good is their bedsheets were not clean and thus stinking. They changed it again and the new one too was stinking. Passed on the review to them and they made it will never be repeated. Food was yum and very economical

They have everything but you have to order online! The check in is online, order food online, there is no reception and no intercomm, just a whatsapp number and you ask there whatever you want. No problems with that just that this was never briefed and one has to find out the hard way. While travelling the last thing one wants is to find out about everything in the hotel the hard way. And no one is telling you anything before u till you are checking in and then it’s too late. You have already paid for you booking. Isn’t this we book through them in the first place? Btw, it’s a vegetarian hotel..again no problem with that but you only find that out at the time of ordering food!

I stayed at the hosteller Shimla, valley view in April 2025. It was a nice experience. Location - Near mall road, but you will need to walk steap uphill to reach the mall road. alternative is to take your car and access another way for 5 minutes. Room - I booked double deluxe room. well organized. bathroom facility satisfactory. Amenities - starting from dental kit to shower gel and hair dryer all required amenities were provided Hot water - 24×7 hot water supply View - beautiful view of the valley through glass window.. there was no balcony with my room. Food - Vegetarian items are available only. Menu is very limited but tasty. Drinking water - RO water available. Packaged water is not available at hotel. Problems - you need to order any service including food online through the portal of their website. People who are not tech-savy may find it difficult. To sum up, Pros - Location, well organized room and bathroom, amenities, beautiful view, availability of continuous hot water Cons - availability of Food (specially choice of food) and drinking water, online system of ordering services.

review for two days of stay

Property- 10/10, Room- 10/10, Cleanliness- 10/10, Location- 10/10, just that they are pretty new in business and have staff shortage. I had to wait for 50 mins for breakfast even then did not get it. I had to eventually cancel and ask for refund(which i am yet to get) for two days of my stay. They have just two options in breakfast so no point opting for breakfast here. Otherwise it is a superb property, well maintained, clean as anything with good spacious rooms.
