The Khyber Himalayan Resort & Spa

It is an amazing property. Witha property like this you can make your guests feel like being in heaven.But a lot remains to be done. The breakfast options are decent. So are the lunch options. Taste is good. Nothing out of the world.Downsides 1) The health fosset must come with a hot water option too.2) the The Khyber Himalayan Resort & Spa must provide a fruit basket or/biscuits for guests. Even when we asked them they didnt provide😳3)There was just republic TV(free) on TV. No other english channel.The The Khyber Himalayan Resort & Spa must provide defined rates for the tour options with the local operators. Each one is charging as per his wish a bomb. It was very disappointing because the guest is feeling cheated.khyber would be ranked 3 rd.For the kind of property it is, the guest experience is far from complete

Here are a few things i experienced and enjoy during my stay: the surroundings of the The Khyber Himalayan Resort & Spa was covered in a beautiful blanket of snow, creating a picturesque winter scene. I enjoyed the serene and magical ambiance that comes with a snowy landscape. Hotel also offered a wide range of winter activities that you can enjoy during your stay like in house bonfire. Khyber The Khyber Himalayan Resort & Spa is situated in a scenic location, you can enjoy breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains or charming winter landscapes. Khyber The Khyber Himalayan Resort & Spa even have rooms or common areas with large windows or balconies specifically designed to showcase these views.

Our stay at the khyber himalayan resort was short, yet memorable. The resort, situated at an altitude of approx 8800 feet above sea level, was visually stunning. The staff were extremely cordial and well behaved. Transportation to and from the srinagar airport was arranged by the resort and was punctual and professional. We had a room with a balcony and the view from it was stunning. The breakfast buffet was lavish with excellent options satisfying all kinds of palates. However, the service was a tad slow, especially the pratha orders. The italian resturant called bravo was superb. Special mention must also be made of their excellent spa and sauna services. The pool was a visual treat, with the magnificient mountains in the backdrop. Overall, it was a lovely stay and worth the price

Excellent property right at the heart of snowy mountains of gulmarg. Though a very expensive property but the scenic view from The Khyber Himalayan Resort & Spa would make you feel like top of the world. Decent service and good behaviours from the staffs. Need to book this property way ahead in order to secure a room. Gondola ride is within 500m from the The Khyber Himalayan Resort & Spa. The steamed pool is like cherry on the top. Excellent and stunning view of the mountains from every corner of this property. If you are willing to spend some extra penny and spend a luxurious night then go for this property. If you are lucky enough then you could also locate a few celebs here!

Khyber is truly a luxurious property - the entrance is possibly the most impressive and ornate. The staff is very polite and helpful and the rooms are exquisite. Of course, the views from here are beautiful and the highlight of the place is the heated swimming pool against the backdrop of the himalayas - divine! it will cost a bomb and not worth that much - but do go once for a special occasion. One unpleasant experience was when the housekeeping staff rang the bell and opened the door himself without waiting for us to say come in - for a property that grand and expensive, basic etiquette should be taught! food is also average. Go for the luxurious experience.

This is by far one of the Most Amazing properties I have stayed in. If you are an introvert like me, you will love it even more. It’s isolated from the crowded places and situated on top of a Mountain with breath taking view of the Himalayas. The The Khyber Himalayan Resort & Spa is gorgeously built and well maintained. It’s clean hygienic and luxurious worth every penny you paid to book the room. The food was amazing.( Best I have had in whole of Kashmir ) Staying in this The Khyber Himalayan Resort & Spa made my trip very memorable and beautiful. Thank you. P.S absolutely loved the SMEG kettle in the room to boil water, made my green tea session Amazing 🤩

What a lovely The Khyber Himalayan Resort & Spa! the rooms, amenities, location, view, everything is splendid. Even though we travel-led in oct, we got snow capped mountain view from our room. That was just amazing! apart from the heated swimming pool that everyone raves about, they also have a separate kids play area, the igloo. I found it very cute and thoughtful. The food was so good and the way they treat you is just amazing. You feel so special. Only challenge with this The Khyber Himalayan Resort & Spa is availability. It is perpetually booked and if i visit gulmarg again, i would definitely stay at khyber again!

It’s a great experience right from the time you enter the lobby. Particularly for the time of our travel, the whole heated set-up is so comforting and welcoming…you always want to get back to the coziness of the The Khyber Himalayan Resort & Spa 😃. Let’s start then - the rooms are beautiful, spacious and well stocked. The heated swimming pool was a surprise. Enough of space outside the room for guests to relax and recreate. The restaurant serves wide cuisine, but most importantly the dishes are authentic and taste is superior. In short, it’s the best place Gulmarg has to offer!

The khyber has been an amazing host, they ensured that my stay was made most memorable and pleasant. The scenic view of the valley ahead accompanied by the warm cozy stay is just cool. The spread of cuisines and the hospitality was splendid. The food is a pricey, but we could overlook it.

The property is well laid out with excellent views all around. Rooms are well stocked with amenities. Food is above expectations and service is top notch. Wish all rooms had balconies instead of just the higher tier rooms.

The khyber has a superb location and with the winter snow all around it’s surreal! great location near the hub of all activities like the gondola. The food is great, and the alacarte dinner choices are very filling usually with freebies added! the steam and sauna are very relaxing. The jacuzzi is not that great. As the back jets don’t work. Only slight issue was that the healthfaucet has only cold water!

Our stay was extremely amazing in this luxurious property. Everything is beyond amazing here. We are just little disappointed with the tv things as there was always fluctuations but overall the stay was just perfect. We got the best service on time.

Nice to get back and visit gulmarg again. Looking forward to coming again.

It is a beautiful property and staff is very cooperative too. The hot water swimming pool is so relaxing.

Resort was awesome and all the amenities like sauna jacuzzi and swimming pool were excellent. Hotel staffs were cooperatives and well trained. Overall this is the best resort

Amazing view from the property

Khyber is a masterpiece nestled in a beautiful valley. Views from literally all windows (bathroom, spa, pool) or balcony are mesmerizing. We absolutely loved our stay here. The food is great and the staff is very hospitable. The spa experience was one of the best we've had anywhere around the world. Worth every penny we spent here. Highly recommended.
