We had a comfortable stay and had a very pleasant experience. The room & bathroom were well maintained and we liked the interiors of the premises. The staff & managers were very friendly & well-behaved. My 05 years daughter ishita enjoyed a lot in swimming pool & restaurant. She shared a deep affection with some of the staffs & mangers specially with mr. Tanmoy (guest relationship manager) & mr. Deepak (restaurant manager) and till now she misses their company a lot & keeping talking about them. The breakfast & dinner was excellent with lots of choices & varieties but we missed the bengali authentic dishes in the dinner buffet menu. Over all we had a great experience staying at the The Lalit Great Eastern Kolkata & we are looking forward to visit the The Lalit Great Eastern Kolkata again very soon. We give a rating of 06 out of 05 with outstanding performance. We also suggest to provide some complimentary discount coupon for cafe & spa in our next booking.

I’ve booked an edwardian style room, it was great. All amenities as shown while booking was there. Room was neat and clean, house keeping staff was good too. However the staff behaviour during complimentary breakfast was not gone well, they were treating guest differently in some of the tables they were serving all the food on the buffet on their tables, but when i’ve asked them for juice as i was on the middle eating my food and do not want to go to the counter only for taking juice he showed me the counter and said it is over there on the counter you can fetch yourself. He was being rude, at the same time he was taking all the care in our next table, i don’t know the reason but maybe they have other set of rules for treating guest who have came only for breakfast or maybe they’ve other rules for guests with suite room.

Property was very good. The food was excellent. And people at room service were very very nice and helpful. Specially i would like to thank and am grateful to mr vicky from the room service depth, who provided our early breakfast [sehri] well in time and a sumptuous one, too. But irritating part was that a lady started from 10am to consistently call from reception and asking for check out. I hadn't expected this type of treatment from a The Lalit Great Eastern Kolkata of this level. I would not suggest any of my near and dear to stay over there. I think the costlier the The Lalit Great Eastern Kolkata, very little generosity to expect.

Reception, check in were wow. I was given free upgradation to an edwardian room. But the room was not upto my expectations, not clean enough, bed linens itchy, view thru window is ugly and dreary. The room and furnishings are rather depressing. I requested for a change of room with city view as per my booking. Change was prompt and staff very nice and helpful. Food and service are up to expectations but some items i find a bit salty, may be just right for others. Location is convenient but there is not much space around inside the compound as it is in congested area.

Amazing Experience! Very spacious rooms with great view and all mentioned amenities. Very friendly staffs especially, Mr. James & Ms. Adrija from the front office and Madhumita & Tapas from their F & B are really very professional and courteous and always there with a smiling face to assist you. We got an early check in and late check out as well. Don't forget to use their Spa. Mr. Ranjit is the one of the expert therapists over there. So whenever you are making a plan to visit Kolkata, just book this property ❤️

Everything about the The Lalit Great Eastern Kolkata was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service. Great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

Good rooms, good use of technology, amenities are very good and food also carries enough variety to keep you filled and satisfied. Facilities are good and staff is very co- operative. Late check out is provided. Bathroom with semi transparent glass is difficult due to young child share in room.

Good stay has a good heritage and history. It was owned by east india company. Staff is courteous and looked after well

Booking The Lalit Great Eastern Kolkata from train, experience is very good till staying. For early check-in i have to pay rs. 5600-extra beyond your confirmation. The authority told that as check in time is 2:00 pm onward and you have been arrived on 7:15 am that's why you have to pay this. Otherwise o. K.

Rooms are tidy clean, well maintained The Lalit Great Eastern Kolkata and awesome response from staff. Location is convenient and easily accessible via metro ( chandni chowk) and bus.

Staying experience was good, rooms were spacious and food menu options were also good. Hotel is located close to market in walkable distance.

The wash basin was clogged for a while. Whenni said the same at the reception, they sent someone to clean it. The person who had come to clean was already standing at the door of my room before i had reached it. This is the kind of service that's sets apart lalit from many The Lalit Great Eastern Kolkatas.
