Stayed in lake view room with very soothing eye catching view of fateh sager lake. Very neat rooms. Full marks for cleanliness. A bit disappointed with food in breakfast buffet as many items were either mismatched or not prepared properly. However staff was very courteous. In no time we were allotted the rooms at floor of our choice. Housekeeping staff was very efficient. Overall location wise and comfort wise it is the best place to stay. Well maintained gardens and beautiful landscapes make u feel like close to nature. Would like to stay in The Lalit Laxmi vilas palace lalit during next visit to udaipur. Highly recommended.

I am really impressed with the overall hospitality and location of the The Lalit Laxmi vilas palace. I believe that this The Lalit Laxmi vilas palace enjoys the best location in udaipur. All the staff people were very nice and very accommodating. Room amenities were superb. Food quality was excellent. I had dal bat-ti churma in the lunch, buffet in the dinner and buffet breakfast in the morning and food variety as well as presentation was amazing. Overall i enjoyed a lot and celebrated my anniversary in beautiful way. I recommend strongly to stay in this The Lalit Laxmi vilas palace.

As soon as you get down from your car at Lalit you will be mesmerised by the view of lake Fateh Sagar and especially when you are coming from Delhi where you are staying in concrete jungle 😀. The quality of service was ok types not so good. For every thing you had to follow up with staff at least twice. The food was good but the time taken to get the food was minimum 45 min so please order accordingly. The property is a heritage property therefore all the amenities are old and need quick replacement.

I booked laxmi vilas palace for my anniversary celebration. It was a nice stay. More than that is its view of fateh sagar lake is amazing, as we entered the location i was so happy to see the view. It is well maintained heritage property. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food is nice. Rooms are good and a nice view although my room didn’t have lake view but still good with sunrise. I will recommend ppl to stay once here it has a view where no other luxury The Lalit Laxmi vilas palaces have.

Few points to be highlighted : - the location of the The Lalit Laxmi vilas palace is just at the center of all the view points of udaipur. - the view of fateh sagar lake from the property is amazing. - the staffs are very cooperative. We celebrated our kids 4th birthday there and they decorated a table in the front lawn with balloon and rose petals along with the cake.

Pricing is on higher side as it is a 5 star property. The property is old but very well maintained and staff is also cooperative. If you are willing to spend 10k per day then it is a very decent choice. Food prices are on higher side as i mentioned it is a 5 star property. Overall the stay was peaceful and relaxing.
