Overall, the stay experience was good! 1. Property is located on the banks of a narrow part of Lake Ashtamudi. If we compare it with many other properties in the Kerala backwaters region, the location is not up to the mark. 2. We stayed at Heritage suite, and it was good and spacious. The balcony could have been a little bigger. This one can accommodate only one person, no space even for a single chair. There are a few minor things to be improved. The sculpture and window panels were dusty, washroom floor is stained etc. 3. Service was a bit disappointing. (A. We had to wait for more than an hour to get our luggage from the car, that too after requesting room service twice. B. Two TVs were provided. Even after our request they could connect only one TV with Wi-Fi, leaving the bedroom TV unconnected C. While removing leftovers after dinner, the dining table was not cleaned - not even made an attempt to clean. We had to clean it ourselves) 4. Restaurant is good, serving delicious food in a nice ambience. Staff were also very courteous. 5. Complementary houseboat experience was very good. We had an initial glitch - we booked for 2a and 2c in one room - via mmt. The The Leela Ashtamudi, A Raviz Hotel called us 2 days bf r journey and informed us that we need to make it 2 rooms (i. E. 1 room was not possible. This meant cancellation and re-booking via mmt. I. E. Unnecessary last minute headaches/expenses prior to travel. So pols check The Leela Ashtamudi, A Raviz Hotel terms bf r booking via mmt. Other than that, the The Leela Ashtamudi, A Raviz Hotel stay was impeccable, food was great, rooms large, good pool, adequate parking, courteous staff. Breakfast buffet spread, i thought, was lesser than what one would expect in a 5 star. They offer a complimentary 30 min boat ride and tea/snacks each evening indoor play area was limited, there is an outdoor multi-court at one end. All in all great place.

We all are senior citizens. We had booked 7 rooms in april 2023 for 2 nights for 26th & 27th december 2023 through makemytrip. Com. On checking in we found front desk staff not upto high standards of leela group. We had chaotic check in experience. There was lack of coordination & poor communication skills. One of the room key was handed over after waiting for 2 hours in lobby. Manager tried to justify the inconvenience caused to us at reception, at the time of checking in. There was no fridge & no locker/safe in our room no. 115 though both were there in other 6 rooms allotted to us. No provision was made in-spite of telling staff in reception counter and manager as well. Room decor was good. We hoped & prayed that our stay for 2 days will be tolerable. Luckily our stay was pleasant and uneventful.

This was a last minute plan, and for a day to begin with, for u, and my family enjoyed the stay, the food, and the various amenities that is there. From the welcome to the complimentary house boat ride, and the spread on buffet on the first day made us think of extending one more day, which we did. The staff were excellent and ‘very kind’ in my 9 year old’s words. Especially the chef bap i and the front desk staff shamili made sure we enjoyed every bit of our stay. The candle light dinner at the ranthal restaurant was superb too. We had our hiccups but it was immediately attended to by the staff and they maintained leela standards. Overall, it was a memorable stay and i would highly recommend it.

Nice and clean rooms. Had booked two grand heritage lake facing rooms through make my trip. Good view of the lake and swimming pool. I had travel-led with my mom who is a senior citizen and they ensured that she was comfortable all through the stay. We had all our meals at their restuarant and the restaurant manager and all others in the restaurant used to be constantly checking with us on our requirements. Except for the buffet breakfast, all our other meals were a-la-carte and they food quality and service was exceptional. Bijil, ajesh, binoy, christopher, nitin and belliappa in the restaurant took care that we did not face any trouble and made my mom feel very comfortable

Checked in for a 3 night stay.. after a few initial glitches in getting a sea facing room, we enjoyed the stay at the The Leela Ashtamudi, A Raviz Hotel. The staff is good and so was the food nice, tasty and freshly prepared food with a good spread.

The location is right in the middle of ashtamudi lake. Food is excellent if you are paying for it. Had the best kanthari beef and am-bur chicken biryani. The complimentary boat ride was the highlight of the stay

The stay was fine with good reception and service by the staff. Only disappointing thing was the hi tea offered with low class snacks.

It was splendid stay, good ambience, dinner buffet had nice spread, lake view rooms are superb. They also provide complementary boat ride. Overall a nice weekend hangout from urban rushes.

Location is one of the best in kerala astamudi kayal is so serene with no weeds unlike kochi backwaters. Rooms were clean and well kept lot of common areas and very high roofing add the grandeur look. Staff always smiling and helpful they did a free upgrade of our room food was good

Onam celebration still in our mind with the leela ashtamudi, excellent food and this resort surrounded by waters make us like floating in the air.
