There's a lot of options for luxury stays in udaipur, from taj to oberoi to leela, but we can say that the team at leela undoubtedly provided one of the best experiences we've had in udaipur and we're certainly looking forward to our next visit back. We especially enjoyed the nightly live music, special care taken at the restaurant, and kind assistance from the concierge desk. And of course the personalised service provided by mr. Mehul joshi. Specifically we would like to recognize siddhartha (concierge, mikael (front desk, to-chi (dining, and the restaurant manager (forgetting his name right now. Young bengali chap, very helpful at ensuring a smooth breakfast. Do note, however, that the property is located on the north side of the lake and is not easily accessible by car. Rather, vehicle should be taken to the east side of the lake near dud h talai, from which the free ferry transfer will take you to the property. It would have been much more helpful if the desk had told us at the time of booking, and when we called to enquirer about transport options, that we should not try to map the The Leela Palace Udaipur on google maps as the driving directions will be inaccurate!

Leela palace udaipur is one of the best The Leela Palace Udaipurs we ever stayed in globally, even better than those luxury collections we ever experienced in ritz carlton's and the four seasons. We had a wonderful stay at this amazing property. The check-in process was very seamless and brisk, extremely professional and we were upgraded to a superb duplex suit with private pool and sweeping panoramic views of the lovely lake pichola (complimentary upgrade by mr ramiz and prathiba. What more can we say about this lavish suit? simply stellar and top notch, i can confidently say this is the best suit we ever stayed in my life globally. The furnishings, ambiance, decor, amenities, everything was seven star. We were welcomed with lovely drinks, a beautiful fruit platter and a chocolate cake! my kids had a wonderful time in the private pool in our suit. I strongly recommend the leela for anyone planning to visit udaipur. Many thanks to prathiba for the entire stay, she satisfied our follow-up demands and made our stay magical and a lifetime memory!

A smiling boatman received us at the jetty, and a truly royal experience starts from there onwards. Greeted by a warm welcome with a rose petal shower and a red tikka on the forehead. The Palace truly makes you feel like royalty. The The Leela Palace Udaipur/palace is a beautifully constructed property where every staff member follows the motto of Athithi Devo Bhava which means the guest is a god. Everything is perfect, ranging from the food to the room and especially the view at night. A special mention to Mahendra, Antara, and Ria for making our stay all the more memorable. If you’re in Udaipur and are willing to spend some extra money, then this property will surely win your heart. A true palace experience.

The property is superbly maintained and manned by customer friendly staff. The staff go beyond their line of duty to help. When we asked for inflatable rings for kid in the swimming pool couple of staff members stayed to watch over. The staff was always available to click pictures or help answer anything we wanted to know. Divyansh the gym instructor not only gave me good tips on training but helped with stretching routines as well. Very courteous staff. We rued that we had planned to shift to another The Leela Palace Udaipur for the next day as we thought waiting or using a ferry will delay our plans of doing city visit etc. Definitely recommend this property

The property is amongst the most opulent properties you will ever come across, but more importantly the staff here are fantastic. Everyone goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and especial. Thee food is also very good, although pricey. Great Rajasthani food at the sheesh mahal, and possibly the best club sandwich at the all day dining. Amazing homemade chocolate icecream.Only minor negative was the pool, which while it's was a stunning pool, it wasn't properly heated as the The Leela Palace Udaipur had claimed it to be. So while I did swim,it was pretty cold and you cant really lounge in the pool.

My stay with family at leela palace udaipur was exceptionally comfortable, blending luxury with relaxation. The diwali celebrations added a festive touch, and the elaborate breakfast menu was a culinary delight. The service by tushar sharma was proactive and helpful, enhancing the overall experience. The detailed artifact tour showcased the palace's art and royalty, offering an informative **** exciting dimension. Numerous serene spots provided a welcome escape from city life. I'm grateful to the leela team for their royal and comfortable hospitality, making my stay truly memorable.

Never before have we experienced anything like this before, the attentiveness of the entire staff, the genuine friendliness and the beauty of the entire The Leela Palace Udaipur area took our breath away. We were welcomed like move stars and we were impressed how each and every staff member seemed to know about us seemingly from the start. On top of that, the location right at the lake is unparalleled and dining at shoes mahal was an unforgettable experience. The only thing we could not recommend is the bar and we hope to not see single use plastic straws when we would return.

We went to Udaipur on the 15th August weekend and stayed at The Leela Palace, Udaipur. Beautiful and large property situated at Lake Chikola. Please make sure, whenever you are booking, you are booking a lake facing room. With the current weather in Udaipur, it is beautiful to sit in the balcony of the room and sip your tea while enjoying the Lake view. Nearby, you can visit The City Palace and local market. Also please do take a reservation for Amrai restaurant for dinner. One of the best places and view to have dinner at.

It was an unforgettable stay. We were celebrating my wife's birthday and the staff was extremely welcoming. At the same time, the property is exquisite. Very satisfied.

Excellent view from room, good service and decent food.

For reaching The Leela Palace Udaipur we took jetty and The view from Lake of Leela place was awesome. We we arrived traditional welcome was done. Room were very spacious and more over room service was excellent. Interior and ambiance of the property were excellent.
