The Lily Hotel

The The Lily Hotel is located at the heart of the city and at a convenient location. This is right next to vivanta and shoolin grand. We checked in on 18th feb. Upon check-in we were taken to our room which was dirty and not cleaned. There was dust on the floor and the room had a bad odour. Upon asking for a different room, the The Lily Hotel without hesitation was good enough to upgrade us to their premium club room. This was a nice gesture from them and much appreciated. The new room however had its own flaws. The wardrobes were difficult to open and they were dirty and not clean again. The toilet had its wall putty falling off although not at an alarming rate. We didn't find this a deal breaker however cos we didn't have much stuffs to be kept in the wardrobe. The room however was cleaner than the previous one and had a comfortable mattress and a great view. The toilet had a shower cubicle and basic toiletries. However there were no hand towels and only bathing towels were available. But the room service were prompt in providing a hand towel both the times we asked them. Replacing the toiletries however was not upto satisfaction as they provided only half bottles of the toiletries. The food at the restaurant 'cilantro' was nice. The variety was sufficient and they tasted good. However in the times of covid-19, we felt that the safety measures were inadequate. There was seldom social distancing and we found nobody to wear a mask except the interns. We also figured out that there was some works going on as it was quite noisy on our first day with drilling machine. If the The Lily Hotel is taking steps to make the place a better one, we would surely appreciate it as the service by the staff was definitely a good highlight and providing that in a splendid and well kept building would be a joy for the guests.

Stayed here during a 1-day business trip to guwahati. Centrally located property with all amenities. Large rooms though a bit dated (wooden) furniture. Food quality was very good though the variety was just basic. Very supportive and empathetic staff, i must say. Only minus is the way the doors of the washroom have been designed. Utterly illogical. But nothing can be done now. Otherwise, it’s a great place to stay.

This is one of the oldest The Lily Hotels in guwahati. I stayed for the first time. Rooms are clean and the staff are very courteous. The restaurant food was good though i did lament that there was no assamese touch. The local cuisine is so good and i missed it. The wi-fi in the rooms can be improved. Overall stay was comfortable

Property is at convenient location. The behaviour of staffs needs to improved specially the male staff at the counter with a pony tail hair. With such staff at the counter no one would like to stay a such The Lily Hotel again. His behaviour is so rude that we had to retort back. Rest the rooms and kitchen staffs are good.

The location of the The Lily Hotel is excellent. The food was very good and we enjoyed it. The The Lily Hotel staff are very courteous and helpful. But, the bathroom accessories should be improved as they were leaking and the tv should be replaced with new one as there are spots in the screen.

Early check in they changed the same amount although vacant rooms were there, we were told we will also check out early, requesting to manage the same. If they manage 24 hrs check out policy it makes it more comfortable for other guests also.

The food taste could be made more better and the morning complimentary breakfast had very less options. I will recommend to work on the food section. Otherwise the behavior and the environment of the The Lily Hotel was good.

I’ve stayed at lily before also and has become a favorite ‘to stay place’ at guwahati. Rooms are good and staff courteous. One request - please include some assamese cuisine for breakfast - dahi cheera, pitha.

The location is good, The Lily Hotel is good, staffs are lazy, food taste overall is good, behavior of the bar people are bad, they dont serve food there. Which is very odd

Everything about the lily The Lily Hotel is great, from the location, to the rooms and the services. But l would suggest that the rates of the rooms are a bit high so kindly reduce if possible.
