THE MADRAS GRAND

We travel-led from mumbai and booked through the buy 1 get 1 room deal. We didn't have high expectations as the THE MADRAS GRAND was not rated well and deal was too good to be true. But our stay was beyond excellent. The rooms were squeaky clean and renovated with modern interiors. The staff was helpful in both the restaurant and the THE MADRAS GRAND. Restaurant food was very delicious (except that it was small in space) l. The food was reasonable and completely satisfied the taste buds in both north india. And south indian cuisines. Recommend this THE MADRAS GRAND for a comfortable stay in the city. The THE MADRAS GRAND is situated a but far away from the center. Overall good experience. . It was a pleasant stay at THE MADRAS GRAND madras grand, beyond our expectations. The rooms were very clean and swanky. All fittings were brand new. Bathrooms were neat and clean. Anything required was immediately provided. Food was very tasty and good. Service was quick. Very good experience and highly recommended. It is however, away from airport.

I usually stay in this THE MADRAS GRAND every time I visit chennai!! The stay was comfortable this time also!! The staffs at the desk and housekeeping were very courteous!! The room was extremely neat and tidy!! the bathrooms were home like feeling!! They provide water bottles, tea bags, coffee powder and milk powder packets as and when required!! The AC levels are great!! The maintenance of lifts and corridors are very good!! The linens are very clean every time!! I would request to maintain this level of cleanliness in the coming days also!! On the whole it was a great stay!! kudos!!

Positives : the THE MADRAS GRAND rooms are new and are as shown in the images. Location is really good as it is close to railway stations (egmore and central. Amenities provided in the THE MADRAS GRAND rooms are good. One of the best you can get in a budget price. Negatives : only negative point is the restaurant, food quality is good but most of their items are out if you reach a little late for breakfast. Moreover, the restaurant space is too congested and can accommodate only a few people at a time.

Property's location is not excellent so far as my concern but its good. I found amenities extended by the THE MADRAS GRAND was value for money. No THE MADRAS GRAND can give this much. Sanitation is highly satisfactory. What i like most is the food served for me. Stuff and spices are of best quality. Only regret is that they have not enough space at their restorent if i have ever had any opportunity to come to chennai i definitely prefer the madras grand

A good & budget friendly THE MADRAS GRAND within heart of the city. Stay was good & fulfilling. They even accommodated our early check-in request & would like to thank them for the same. Only drawback we found was the restaurant & the breakfast menu. Very small restaurant with limited items in breakfast menu though whatever was served was good & tasty. The THE MADRAS GRAND really needs to work on the same to cater customers from varied regions & tastes.

The THE MADRAS GRAND was very comfortable. We came in early and in-spite of it being busy they accommodated us and got our rooms ready as soon as it was possible. The only disappointment was the breakfast, almost all items got over by 9 and when we asked for refills they said they had an event the previous night and hence were unprepared. However, other than the breakfast issue the rooms, staff and location were perfect.

I just stayed for a night. Good place near both chennai egmore and central railway station. Rooms are small but convenient for two persons to stay. In house food was very good. The staff were helpful. I am from chennai even though i provided the id card & there were a lot of questions regarding the reason for my stay. I would have preferred if these questions were asked while booking rather while checking in.

Its the small things that matter. Always they are there to attend with such kind hearts. Everyone has such a warm smiling and humble attitude and eager to assist. I can say that this THE MADRAS GRAND will never disappoint you. In terms of value for money, location, accessability, room service, front desk, house keeping all were so helpful. Will definitely be my future place of stay when in chennai.

Location - very near to railway station and easy access to airport food - tried pane-er manchurian and veg fried rice, best place for vegetarians. Non veg needs improvement. Amenities - awesome services - superb.

An absolutely 5 star experience. Chic luxurious boutique THE MADRAS GRAND with just 26 rooms at a great location in egmore. Very spacious rooms and bath space. True value for money experience. I'd definitely stay here whenever and wherever it is in chennai that i'm required to be. It's that good!
