The Mansion, 1907

We stayed at The Mansion 1907 as a bunch of friends with family and kids.. 8 adults 4 kids. All adjusted well to the serene interiors which invoke conversations and help you spend time with your loved ones. From sit out places to swings, books to board games, guitars to Wi-Fi, the place has everything you would need to stay indoors. Not to mention the neatly maintained bunk beds, each with their own reading light and charging point. It has a hostel type environment with common bathrooms where everyone greets everyone and tries to be friends while minding their own business when privacy is needed. Hiren and the staff was very courteous and helpful. The place is located right in the middle of the city with walking distance proximity to the Mysore Palace, Zoo, Bus Stand and Market area. All in all, real value for money. And a great experience.

I stayed at The Mansion, 1907 for two days. Everything right from the room (I stayed in the mixed dorm 6 bunk beds) was excellent. The property is very vintage. Old fashioned. But the facilities are top class. Excellent food made by Akka as I used to call her. It mostly had foreigners and I made friends with some of them. The ambience is good and informal. Very warm and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place for all.

Nice and comfortable stay in decently priced dormitory. Major attractions like Zoo and Mysore Palace are located at a walking distance and bus stand is not far. A peaceful and green mansion, highly preferred by foreigners as well. Paid breakfast and laundry service available along with bicycle on rent. Special discount to travellers staying here on a tour with Royal Mysore Walks.

Will surely visit again just for the peace and soothing ambience of the place. It is good specially for solo trippers and wanderers and groups. It's located perfectly - near all amenities as well as hidden away in trees and quiet. Car parking available. The service doesn't speak much of English and is difficult to communicate some times.

The location was near to palace and we can actually reach by walking. The place was ambient and the hospitality was good. The hostel had both dormitory and single room. The food we had over there was awesome, specifically I liked the ginger honey lemon drink. Overall I would strongly recommend this place for pocket friendly stay.

It's an amazing place, this is the second time i'm visiting that place. Most of The time there will be lots of foreigners. You can talk to them and share experiences, there are lot of amazing paintings through out, if you are looking for photos hoot it's The best place to go. There is a TV too in case if you wanna relax.

Good stay. Different experience altogether ... Definitely serves your expectations. The rooms are clean and tidy ... We have many accessories like music room, mini library and a yoga class held everyday. There is also a kitchen if you wish to cook or order whatever you wish to have. Local tour trips are also organised

The women traveled were all aged between 55 to 80 and the staff there were very accommodating and helped us with our concerns and requirements. We booked a dormitory and wanted privacy too. They moved us to another unoccupied room. It has the rest rooms convenient for aged people and secure too.

I like it, they offering good stay. Location is good, nice old house with good hospitality.

This mansion has become one of my favorite hostels.

It's has such a relaxing vibe to it

It is a quiet and serene place at The centre of The Mysore City. Good ambience, friendly staffs and secured place. Kudos to The The Mansion, 1907 management and employees. Keep it up.

Rooms are not allotted to single person ... In my point of view it's good for families. It is 2. 5 km from railway station ... The management providing self cooking mean that gives us freedom .. It is different than others

There are no restrictions put by the owner, you can easily sip whiskey with foreigners and spend some good time.
