The Meadows Chopta Camp Stay

My one night stay was good with my minimal expectations. It was warm in daytime in second week of june. Not good for people who want The Meadows Chopta Camp Stay type facilities. It is among with other several camp providers in same area downwards. There is open area entry from highway road itself along with lot of parking space. Airtel sim was not working and jio worked sometime. Wifi was available at reception only in daytime and at camps also in night. Camps setting is good with under private canopy sitting area. Camp tent has ventilation windows. Bedding and quilts ware clean. Attached washroom area within tent is there with cold water supply and also in water tank. Pets are allowed but local dogs within their camps area are aggressive. Some of the guys seems tired and unhappy and disinterested. They don't tell themselves about the facilities given by the management for your booked package at camps. You will have to ask for everything ( food menu, wifi, dinner timings ) and about every service. Canteen/ reception camp with sitting area is there. Packaged eating items, cold drinks are available.

You are in forest so do not expect facilities like other hill stations. It’s difficult to reach here and survival is the first instinct in winters. Bonfire is not allowed legally, water lines will be choked, no electricity only solar panel powered light so expect 3-4 hours light only in evening. Overall, camp guys did a good job. Although i feel they can keep more food variety but nonetheless helpful and good experience.

Meadows Chopta is one of the best camp resort, with beautiful meadows where you can relax with spectacular view. Service is also prompt, specially Maggy and tea are available. Camp is also not very far from trekking starting point. I would recommend this place if you are planning to stay in Chopta.

My brother along with his friends went to visit tungnath ji temple i have booked this camp as per the reviews experienced was average as little problem in service rest stay is comfortable and fantastic scenic view from the camp.

The location was very quiet and comfortable. Even in chilly weather they served us hot food, water, tea and responded to our urgent calls. The bed and washroom was totally cleaned. Overall it was a great experience in there.

Best staying experience here. These people are taking care of all traveler personally. You will get best food like your home food. Owner and his team members are always ready to support.

View was mesmerizing from the top. Food was exceptionally good and tasty. We got whatever we needed, ultimate peace. Staff was very friendly.
