The Meadows Chopta Camp Stay

I stayed here on Oct 22-25. When I booked for camp stay, I was not expecting the hygiene, cleanliness and service to be so good. The camp has in-house restaurant. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food items are limited. The lunch and dinner food items are decided by staff. The staff cook really delicious food. Even, guest from other camps were coming for lunch and dinner. One more important thing to keep in mind. It is located in forest area. The electricity is generated by Solar. It is available from 5:30 p.m onwards till battery last. The camps provide high speed WiFi. The connectivity to outside world is not problem at all. Parking lot is available near road.

The stay was good. Stunning view of snow covered mountains. Food was good and staff is so cooperative.

neat and clean property, wow surroundings, clean bedding, homely food (as I don't like spicy food), nice behaviour of staff and care taker, enough parking space. highly recommended to stay. Satisfactory room service for hot water, tea etc.

Very well appointed and comfortable rooms and stay

The stay was good. The staff were polite and friendly. The food was tasty and freshly prepared. There was plenty of parking space and a nice view. The tent was comfortable too. The only drawback was that there was no hot water in the tent. In the morning, it was a bit difficult to wash up face and all because of the cold weather. However, hot water was available at the restaurant for drinking or filling bottles.

The room was spacious. There was charging point and wifi. But the electricity is only available from 6 pm onwards. We can also avail hot water. Their food was also delicious.

Good location and delicious food, specially the Poha

The tents were well maintained. Washrooms were clean and hygienic. Food was very good and service was also prompt.

Location is next to main road. Accomodation and food was amazing. Din't expect that camp stay could be soo clean and maintained at a remote location like chopta.

Tents are good, with decent washrooms. But could have been cheaper and there was no geysers or arrangements for hot water

This place has an amazing view of the Himalayas. The staff were very polite and helpful. We had a very nice time.

The accommodation was excellent — clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The food was among the best we’ve had in a mountain camp, freshly prepared and very satisfying. What stood out the most was the prompt service — staff were always ready to help and ensured everything we needed was taken care of immediately. A great experience overall, and highly recommended for nature.

The camp condition was Ok. washroom was clean and had adequate facilities. It is a decent stay if you are planning to go for tungnath trek and just want to stay for a day. However the owner was not friendly, we had welcome drinks included in the booking but the denied to provide us anything. Its not about money as we could afford the drinks but about the values the owner hold, was very disappointed on that. Even wifi was not working.

The location is very beautiful and peaceful with scenic beauty additionally great food and cozy camps.

Meadows Chopta is one of the best camp resort, with beautiful meadows where you can relax with spectacular view. Service is also prompt, specially Maggy and tea are available. Camp is also not very far from trekking starting point. I would recommend this place if you are planning to stay in Chopta.
