The Meenmuty Heights

We stayed in the resort for 2 days and one night. Here are our observation: 1. A very good scenic place. Surrounded with tea estates on all sides. The rooms are located on the hill side at higher places. 2. A spacious room with front and backside spacious balconies, a spacious bathroom, etc. Room was clean. A small refrigerator, kettle etc was provided in the room. A LED TV instead of old flat screen TV was the only thing that is required. 3. Food is not great here. The dinner was served to the room, but not that tasty. It is slightly expensive too. The dinner for 2 can cost around Rs 500. Breakfast buffet in the morning was good. Grape juice, Cornflakes, Idli Vada, Chole Botora, Upma, Bread butter jam, Coffee/Tea etc was provided. 4. The place has a small bamboo island. It is small walk of around 300 meters from the reception. People can play in the water over here. 5. Though meenmutty waterfalls is besides their property we can barely see top 10fts of the water fall. They have a small platform for the waterfall view, but the location is such that only a very small portion can be visible. 6. They have good amenities to enjoy. Swimming pool was good. They also have carom, badminton etc. 7. The road leading to resort is about 1km from the main road, slightly narrow and not in a good condition. However there was no difficulty in driving my sedan. 8. The staff is very helpful. The service is very good. In the end, I would like to visit the place again in the future when I visit Wayanad again.

I had visited with my colleagues to this The Meenmuty Heights and overall enjoyed a lot. Below are few Positive & Negative feedback based on my experience. Positive: Location is very scenic. Food is good. But not Very Expensive. The Meenmutty water flows in this resort. It is a natural stream where all enjoy. Swimming Pool is neat and clean. The pool depth is not more than 4 to 5 feet so Non-Swimmer's can enjoy. Room are very spacious and the Sapphire room has very good Balcony (which we stayed). Has enough Parking Space for vehicles. Provide/Guide us if we need anything. Negative: Food is very Expensive. Quality is good, but quantity is very less. Room service need to be improved. We had to call to reception many time for cleaning the room. Sign board to be visible with Arrow mark. We had to go to Tamil Nadu border and return back to find out the The Meenmuty Heights. Camp fire is very poor. Suggestion: You can stay at his The Meenmuty Heights. But, for food suggest to go Nest & Mist which is 6 km far from this resort. Nest & Mist has good taste and less expensive too.

The highlight of the resort clearly is the location that it offers to stay... Beautiful lush green valley, surrounded by mountains and forest from all sides act as visual treat to the people staying there, And to make it great, there is a beautiful waterfall which flows just beside the resort and the way to it is within the premise of resort itself. The weather is great and it fulfills the charm of Kerala, The resort offers cycling, badminton, basketball and carom as recreations and also a swimming pool to relax yourself but it is actually the beautiful locales of Wayanad which steals the show, There is top view of Mountain and a superb bamboo forest around the waterfall to make your day. The only flip side here is actually the service of the resort, the food is not up to the quality at all being expensive at the same time... The cleanliness is also one aspect which the resort should put very careful attention upon, Even the swimming pool needs solid maintenance and hygiene, The resort also offers SPA service however the word of mouth isn't great.

The resort is located at 2,000 Feet height between the jungle, an excellent place and with good view from everywhere. All facilities at the resort like rooms, toilets, play area, swimming pool, restaurant, etc. were neat and clean and very well maintained. The rooms were very spacious and maintained very well up to the high level standard. All facilities like water, hot water, tea, coffee, minibar etc. were available at rooms. The swimming pool was excellent with clean water, it was an amazing experience to swim at this height while clouds moving around. The food quality was also good. The resort staff Adarsh and his team is excellent in their profession. They are very polite and courteous and taking care of every small thing of the guest. The overall experience at The Meenmutty Heights was very enjoyable and relaxing. Points for Consideration- The approach to resort from main road to be prepared well with radium sign boards. Looking to the location between jungle, all windows to be covered with grill.

Hospitality was so good that you will be pampered as babies, had campfire in the evening with nice pop music, Island trip for about 1:30 minutes in the The Meenmuty Heights was too good. Cycling in tea estates was like flying in air. The view from the room was really an amazing scenic for eyes and the waterfall sound was like spa for ears when you come out of the room at tea time. There are so many things to explain but I am in short of words. Finally complimentary breakfast was too heavy that we skipped lunch for the day. Overall, it is the place for nature lovers!

Meenmutty heights is in 300 acres tea and coffee plantation. Road to access resort is narrow and steep. One needs to be careful as only one vehicle can pass. Welcome drink was refreshing after tiring journey. Service is too good. Rooms were spacious and clean. Swimming pool was good but water was hard. Resort has many indoor and outdoor activities. You would not be bored. Quality of food in resort was not up to mark. But buffet breakfast was good. Sorry just uploading one pic captured from resort. I would recommend this resort if anyone want to stay..

After much deliberation and research, booked the kings palazzo room at the meenmutty heights resorts. Got a wonderful deal ( nearly half price). So thank you MMT and off seasons. Stayed for a night at one of their best rooms. The weather was pure bliss, stuck romantically between drizzling and threatening rain. The resort is housed in a huge tea plantation. It's reasonably easy to find and well maintained. They have an awe inspiring swimming pool and treks within their estate. Food is decent and staff friendly. Definitely worth a visit.

Thanks to Mr. Jacob & Team members for taking care of us. Meenmutty Heights is awesome, Place is really a heaven to stay. Nature at it's best. Great location and well-maintained rooms. Excellent service. Campfire in the evening with nice good music. 1. Excellent views of the mountain. 2. Trekking inside the resort (bamboo Island was superb). 3. Most Romantic place to stay in Waynad. I strongly suggest this place if anyone planning to visit Wayanad. Thank you Meenmutty Heights for the great service.

Overall it was good experience, amidst tea and coffee plantations on the bank of Meenmutty waterfalls, stunning view from the rooms, play area, cycling for kids and elders, good staff, bathing on the waterfalls was amazing in the resort.

We were at Mysore and decided to go a short holiday, Meenmutty was recommended by a friend. As there are signboard other than at location we did find it hard to locate the place. It would good to have signboards from Sultan Bathery . Great location and well maintained rooms. Excellent service. If you like wilderness you would love this place, on the whole make a good getaway. 16:20

Location is excellent. Very good resort and friendly staff. Only draw back is food. It is not great. The resort has small bamboo island and a water stream passing through. Good for trekking and nature walk.

This is a nice resort inside Chandagiri tea estate, 4 km from Vaduvanchal (nearest bazzar). The location is quite close to some of the interesting spots ie, Chembra peak, decal caves, nellimala view point. But we could not see meenmutty waterfall from the The Meenmuty Heights view point. One negative point is food which is extremely costly but tastes average. Bonfire was quite depressing. Also the sports amenities was limited as well as the cycles. The swimming pool was not well maintained.

The location and rooms were excellent. Wish it was not raining we could have enjoyed the property more. The food is not that great there (a la carte) menu .. But the breakfast buffet was good .. There was a stream running within the property which was refreshing ...

Everything execellent Room is quite good. Seeming pool is also good . . Resturent is okay ... Nice place to spend time with your loved ones ... Will plan in future for same place with friends ... Oveall good experience

Location is excellent with nice tea and coffee plantation, Waterfall, stream, mist, etc. You don't need to travel to outside. Mist will come inside your room and balcony. Staff response is also very good. Food is costly and room curtains need to be more opaque.

Food especially breakfast is too good and staff kills you with hospitality. Totally loved the experience. Worth the amount spent.

Perfect place for an out of the world experience ... Calm ... Cool ... Loved it. We were there for schoolmates reunion ... And it added really memorable flavours to it ... Perfect ambience hygienic rooms ... Calm atmosphere.

Very helpful front desk especially Mr. Vivek who cater to all our needs and also gave us great service after initial hiccups from MakeMyTrip. He upgraded the room with the best view in the resort, thanks for all the arrangements. Very good resort with good amenities in middle of 300 acre tea estate

Location and services are really good. Great value for the money spent. Should give more options in food items and rest are all very good. Staff are very friendly and gives really good hospitality.

Nothing to describe about this heaven place. I loved my stay at this. Everyone were very helpful and the service was excellent. Staff members are really very cooperative. View from resort is really awesome. We enjoyed a lot and a very romantic place for vacation. Food is tasty. Thank you Meenmutty for the service.
