Best stay i've had in kochi. Couldn't have asked for anything more. When i reached the hostel, i was in a really bad state as i had sprained my ankle while travel-ling and was not able to walk properly. I got down the auto at the front gate and the manager sees me literally crawling - he rushes to get me in, at this time i'm on the verge to break down. He took my responsibility like i'm his really old friend and got a special treatment. Visited hospital with me, helped me communicate with hospital staff and everything! got me my food delivered at my door, got me a better room so that i don't need to climb the staircase with broken foot. Checked with me frequently to see if i need anything. It all was beyond the expectations - mani bro is a sweet guy. He always has a smile on his face. I was so overwhelmed with the treatment and i didn't know how to compensate for that but it's the generosity that these guys have shown me which was next level! if you want to be your stay peaceful and want to meet good hosts - this is where you should definitely come. The location is kinda prime - near to the south station and that's a plus!

The concept of Meteopod is superb. This is a A\C Mixed Dormitory type stay (Males - 1st floor & Females - 2nd floor) There are 8 beds in a room of Bunker Type. They provide only bed and restroom (No food provided you have to take care - there are lot of restaurants nearby) Beds are comfortable with thick blankets. Both Rooms & Restrooms are well maintained daily and very neat. A\C will be from 6pm to 6am only but don't worry the rooms are always cool and silent. No noise\sound disturbances inside. They provide with a locker under your bed for safety of our things. No hot water facility. RO+UV Purified Drinking water is available. Common Area for Work is also available where we can charge our mobiles. Receptionists are well versed in all languages and very helpful. Thank you so much Metropod Dormitory for a very peaceful and pleasant stay and hospitality as this is my first time in Kochi. They didn't expect any extra charges! Online bookings are accepted here. Highly recommended. 8.5 ⭐ out of 10. Only thing uncomfortable was too much mosquitoes inside the AC room please take any measures. 😊

I have booked a dorm for a single day. The room is quite well maintained. And most importantly the room is very well connected to nearby places to explore the city. Rail station and bus stops are dew minutes walking distance, even the ferry is so you can reach to fort kochi easily. The host of the property are very polite and most of all very helpful. I had a bus to munnar at 3:30 in the morning and they help me out with transportation information at that night.

basically I'm a all time travelling person. and all i required a good sleeping area, also with all basic amenities. at this place all amenities were being ideal and easy to handle. so it was a great experience. also I am done with bookings at The Metro Pod Backpackers AC Hostels when I got so much beautiful property at minimal cost. AC in bedroom, clean washroom , seperate smoking area and common area all perfect 🤘all thanks goes to MMT & property owner.

The stay at the metro pod was quite a good experience. The staffs were so friendly and they did their duties best. The washroom was quite clean and good as than i expected. One factor i felt a little intrigued is the smell. There was a foul smell at times but ig it was from the shoes of some guest. If they had provided a closed stand box for this then it would also be reduced and all together it was good stay at the metropod

This was my first time stay in a dormitory and it very well. The property and amenities are exactly as given in the pics and description. Stay was quite peaceful even though the property located in the heart of the city. Reception and caretaker was very helpful and courteous. I would definitely prefer metro pod backpackers next time.

The dormitory is safe for solo travelers like me. Rooms were often quite. Even ac was working well enough. They switch of the light by 11 pm atleast. So your sleep won't be get disturbed. When i had stayed over there everybody was behaving well. They have hallway in which your can talk or chat.

This was my first time stay in a dormitory and it very well. The property and amenities are exactly as given in the pics and description. It was very near to maharajas metro station. Restaurants nearby. Rooms were clean and cool. Washrooms were clean. Friendly staff. Safe place to stay. Locker was available. Provided pillow and blanket. No food available. Drinking and smoking not allowed inside.
