The Mud House

Overall stay and food quality and pricing was good. Unfortunately on the departure day morning we ordered tea, just 1 spoon of tea split and dropped on the bed, for which hotel charged Rs. 300/-, which is completly illogical, because 1 spoon of tea can be easily washed out by using concentrated cleaning agent worth of Rs. 20/- max. They were not ready to co-operate at all. This was totally unfortunate and I have shared this within my community to avoid booking Mud House in future.

All over very good!! Foods and room all are very good! Behaviour of staffs are very humble !! Happy stay ..

Food is good, cleanliness needs to be improved upon. Bed linen was of poor quality

it was good environment and good food. stuffs are very polite. Always very good behavior. Rooms are very clean.

I like hospitality and food there. Specially Pritam is too good. He is always supportive to us. Guided us for local travel.

The booking was not a good value for money. the room quality is not at par. swimming pool water was pathetic, no water supply in wash room, comode was with stain. There is no buffet arrangement in breakfast. Hotel is closed in the morning till 8am is surprising. Had to push security to open the door as wanted a morning walk. Food quality was good and attentiveness of staff were fine. Overall the experience is not at all satisfactory.

Property was located in the city but the rooms were dirty, bathroom attachments and fittings were not working. There was water seepage and the rooms have no privacy as every conversation happening in the rooms can be heard from other rooms too. The staff is not trained and their service is very slow. Hardly anyone is there after 11 and you don’t even get tea or coffee before 9:30 in the morning. Someone smokes up every night and you can hardly step out of your room due to the smell. There’s construction happening right next, so neither can you open windows nor can you sit in open. There’s no intercom and every time you have to either call their personal number or go down and call them personally.

Excellent stay at mud house. Unique and spacious rooms, calm locality and good food. Staffs are friendly and cooperative.

Place is good staff are helpful l and hard working environment is ok food quality is perfect only sun is not visible. As it is fully covered house

I booked the mud house at santiniketan through make my trip. Atmosphere is calm & quiet. The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Quality of food can be improve. The room rent is somehow overpriced to some extent.

There was dirty and soily toilet.From bed to washroom full dirt was there.Staffs are not mood for good service.

The room was not cleaned properly, and the toilet was too dirty and broken, with an overall unpleasant smell. The experience was disappointing, especially considering the price, as it did not meet expectations. Additionally, the food was very good in terms of taste and quality. On a positive note, the behaviour of the staff was excellent.

The property is nice and situated at ratan pally, which is very close to the post office. The amenities are very good and the food is extremely tasty and optimally priced. The support staff, mainly pritam, rabbi and sukanta were very helpful and had a very pleasant demeanor. I personally feel that the rooms need to be more bright along with the washroom. The lights were not enough. But keeping that aside there is not much room for complaint. I had a very pleasant stay at the property.

It was an amazing experience. I found about the mud house at google and then booked it through makemytrip. It was such a pleasant play. You will find peace at each and every corner of this place. I loved it so much. The rooms, the facilities, the people all are awesome. Will visit this place again.

The hotel is very nice. The theme of the hotel is very beautiful. This is my first experience. One of the best hotel of bolpur, shantinikentan.

Overall cleanliness is main issue. Washroom and bathroom is very very dirty. Bed sheets, curtains were well decorated but very dirty.

Nice property and have a very unique way of presentation as if one is staying in a mud house. Staffs were very courteous and were always available. But what i didn’t like was that i booked my room through mm t and it was an aqua room with swimming pool facility within the room, and i paid a premium price of rs. 5047- per night for the room. But the room was not in a good condition and the hotel staff were also not very keen to host guest there. So we shifted to another room, which was 3500- per night as confirmed by the hotel. That room was good but no swimming pool facility. So now i am not sure how to get refund of the balance payment of rs. 1547. As per hotel since i didn’t pay them directly, so they are not supposed to refund same. So my queries to both hotel and mm t officials, 1st how am i going to get back by refund and 2nd why such rooms options are given in the portal, which are not in condition to host guest?
