The Nihal Resort

We were there for 3 nights and we had lots of fun as family there, plenty of playing area for kid and activities like badminton, cricket and campfire can be arranged in designated areas. They also have floating platform in lake where you can celebrate any special occasion. Let's not forget the best part, an infinity pool. Staff is very friendly and honours all request related to specific food requirements. Only thing we face is no network for any mobile companies except bsnl.

First important thing- we booked for 3 people and got a couple room at the The Nihal Resort. I really don't know the issue is with makemytrip or the The Nihal Resort people. About The Nihal Resort: location was super, you can't ask more, swimming pool, outdoor ambience, resturant, staffs behaviour etc. Are excellent. Rooms are small and best suited for couples, if you have a kid along with you, difficult to accommodate on the same room. Connectivity was very poor, no network available and wifi offered is only available near the restaurant. Overall it was a relaxed & pleasant stay

Location of resort is superb, calm and quiet. Rooms are very small as compared to the area occupied by resort. Lots of improvement required with respect to amenities in room and resort. Food : They are currently not providing good options and best quality to guests but focus on enervating heavy margins by using very low quality stuff and charging heavily from guests. Resort authority need to think of providing geyser in rooms. They have solar panels and waste 40-50 liter of water every time we need warm water. Not eco-friendly.

Very nice view of the lake n mountains. Staff is very courteous and helpful. They have lots of food options in the menu but breakfast can be better with items like cereal / bread. Have good number of activities like pool, net cricket, boating, kayaking, ski, small open jeep safari, archery n carrom. Access road is narrow for the last 45 min from mahabaleshwar but ok. Driver accomodation also available in dorm (if not booked) for 1000- per night stay n food.

We had a very good experience with our stay. Even though the resort was under infrastructure development and facilities, still the staff and management made sure that our needs were satisfied to all the extents. Food was awesome for us to be living in a The Nihal Resort and experiencing food taste homely was really rare combination. There is no mobile connectivity other than BSNL as of now. But a place to really visit.

It was memorable stay for me and my friends at Nihal Resort. Best resort in Tapola. It is situated next to Shivsagar Lake. The food was great. The view was awesome. Although rooms were little small in size but we were able to manage it. Staff is polite and service was quick. Enjoyed a lot in infinity pool. Best place for couples and family. Highly recommended.

Property location is good - tapioca lake view, proximity to the lake, peaceful and calm atmosphere. Perfect for relaxation. Food quality is good. Staff is courteous. Well maintained and hygienic. Drawback- no room service offered by the resort.

We had stayed for 3 days the property is well equipped with all the amenities. Infinity pool is just awesome in night. Staff is quiety userfriendly and the food quality is also nice.

Our stay at Nihal Resort Tapola Mahabaleshwar was great, located in lap of nature with good owner and staff to serve The guests at their best.
