We stayed here with family. I would describe it as a boutique The Nilaya | Boutique Hotel, Cafe & Bar, with large comfortable rooms and charming interiors. Positives - easily accessible but away from the hustle & bustle of shimla - property with great view from the valley view rooms - clean and spacious rooms - picturesque corners spread out throughout the property - gaming zone in attic with multiple options to enjoy your time like pool table, Xbox, library, fussball and other indoor games - beautiful restaurant with superb outdoor seating, great food and a pleasant breakfast spread - courteous and cooperative staff, specially thakur ji, dharmendra, anil and jagdish , - the rooms are spacious negatives - no valley facing garden area to sit and relax but compensated by the valley facing restaurant outdoor seating

Really beautiful property. I am in awe of their plant collections. Really good space for bachelors and couples to spend leisure time. You need to take a steep internal road to reach this property where you are completely cut off from the local areas. If you are planning for a staycation, this is a perfect place however if you intend to step out very often, skip this place as the stay might not be worth it as compared to the travel to and fro. They have an in-house bar with amazing mountain view, a flavorful kitchen, activity room, children play area. So even if you don’t step out, you would have a great time. Also plus another star for installing water filters on every floor and discouraging use of plastic bottles. Loved the gesture!

We did not find or saw sanitization on regular basis although when we request before check in the room was sanitize in front of us guidelines are pasted on the wall but guest hardly follow them as there is nobody to ask them to follow
The safety standards for covid are just to to show that their following the guidelines although we did not find any sanitization to be done but as we requested while check in they sanitize the room and the floor but we did not fine anywhere that sanitization was done on regular basis or management promoted other guest to sanitize their hands or or keep on the mask in common areas although the guidelines has been pasted on the walls to follow

We were given room on the attic (top floor), I requested a good view room. This room had really a nice view with huge windows on 2 sides of the room. The The Nilaya | Boutique Hotel, Cafe & Bar has nice interiors as well, it is a modern The Nilaya | Boutique Hotel, Cafe & Bar. The only problem is - I did not like my room interiors. There was not even a table in the room, roof height was too low, everything else was very basic. I saw another room later during the day. It was on the 3rd floor. Even it had 2 side windows and everything else that I was expecting from a room costing 5K. I would recommend taking a room on the 3rd floor.

Nilaya is a beautiful property with gorgeous views and inst a worthy interiors. Food quality and taste is superb. We tried almost everything in the menu and it was amazingly delicious. Currently due to covid the property is under staffed because of which you may expect a delay in services. Only 1 things needs major improvement that is cleanliness/housekeeping of the rooms. Rest everything about the property is great.
Overall safety measures are good. But the property needs to improve upon the room cleanliness part. Housekeeping is not upto the mark.

We stayed at Nilaya considering the beautiful pictures we saw on MakeMyTrip. True to the pictures displayed this The Nilaya | Boutique Hotel, Cafe & Bar is very beautiful and well maintained. The rooms are spacious, the activity room is very bright and beautiful. The service is very prompt. The only thing that I felt was a con that the location from the main Shimla Road. It took us 45 mins to reach the Mall Road. Otherwise, I will recommend pool to come and experience the beautiful stay and warm hospitality offered by the staff.

We had a good stay at the nilaya, the rooms were compact but had all the facilities. Room service was awesome to be honest. However some of the staff needs to be trained as they didn't have a friendly behavior. Improvement on service is required though, we checked out at 7 am and has requested for some packed breakfast the earlier night but was completely denied by the person at the receptionist. Would rate my stay 3. 75/5.
Overall all the safety measures were taken, no complaints in regards to safety measures.

I stayed at The Nilaya for 3 nights in October 2019 and had a wonderful time there, thanks to the beautiful location, spacious rooms and the amazing service. The property is located away from the main city, with a beautiful view and is amazingly done everything about its exteriors and interiors will impress you. Clearly the The Nilaya | Boutique Hotel, Cafe & Bar puts a lot of emphasis on hospitality and guest satisfaction. This is the kind of place that you would like to visit just for the experience.

This The Nilaya | Boutique Hotel, Cafe & Bar is surrounded by many other The Nilaya | Boutique Hotel, Cafe & Bars and under construction properties. Due to construction work there is not complete silence around the property. Service was good. Food was good but very limited. Also rooms don't have balconies so you feel caged if you are in a room. I can recommend a one day stay but it's hard to stay for more than one day at this property, at least it was difficult for me.

So thankful that we chose this The Nilaya | Boutique Hotel, Cafe & Bar to stay The view from the room and The Nilaya | Boutique Hotel, Cafe & Bar interior are beautiful. We spent most of our time in the The Nilaya | Boutique Hotel, Cafe & Bar premises itself. The staff was very accommodating towards the needs of our 14 month old daughter. The terrace attached to the restaurant has a lovely view. Highly recommended for young couples and couples with small children.

The arhr cotel was good, neat clean and refreshing only one majo issue was they have not made proper road to approach The Nilaya | Boutique Hotel, Cafe & Bar so had my ankle twisted as well as as difficult for cars to climb the steep road because of improper road

My stay at Nilaya was good, but it was not the best. Near by location was good, but the view from my room was pathetic. In breakfast buffet, limited food variety only 3-4 options and taste is not good. As a suggestion The Nilaya | Boutique Hotel, Cafe & Bar must improve the food quality and also include some more options in the menu especially in buffet. Also put some sign boards along the roads, so that one can easily find the The Nilaya | Boutique Hotel, Cafe & Bar.

Must try property. Good for family and couple get togethers.

It's a beautiful place to visit. The staff was amazing and helpfull. The best part about this place was it was pet friendly. The food was nice. Would definitely visit this place again.

The experience at nilaya was amazing. Everything from cleanliness & hygiene to ambience, food, staff everything was spot on. Very friendly staff, catering all the requests from everything to anything. If anyone is looking to take a pause and experience beauty of the nature, this is the place. Very amazing property. 5star
