The food at Oberoi Cecil is not upto mark what we expect from a 5star property.. The rooms are just fine, hospitality is good ,but property has nothing to explore or recreational activity. Pool is not what shown in pictures..its smaller and congested changing area, with lots of smell and moisture. No proper maintenance at pool side.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Oberoi Cecil in Shimla, and it was truly an exceptional experience! The location is fantastic, and having private car parking was a huge plus. Their food gave me acute and sevre diarrhea. It all started with me finding a hair in my lunch and when i called the staff and showed it to him, he took the food and ran away so that no picture can be taken. I was surprised if I was in oberoi or in a dhaba. I asked for the manager of the restaurant but no one turned up untill i warned to call the customer care. Cherry on the top, their managerial staff inquired if I was a chronic patient for gastric disorders and justified that their food was the best I would ever have. I would rather stay in a dharamshala then this place. First hospitalised for excessive vomiting and diarrhea for two consecutive days. plus their hotel has no open area at all except if you have a balcony room. no ventilation. Now imagine a person having diarrhea and not able to have fresh air

I had the most memorable and amazing stay at the Oberoi Cecil Shimla. I fell the services and guest focus was second to none. The Staff really know how to keep their guests happy so that they can have a super time. Hats off to the whole Team.

Seeing the congestion in Shimla Cecil is perfectly located with Guests Vehicle parked opposite the Property. Not only the Food, Amenities and Services are unbelievable but also the Courtesy and smile.

Hospitality is superb! I have spent time at Taj theog, but they are useless. I would 100% recommend it. You won't regret it. Shreeja and Raghav are both really nice. if you are choosing from Taj theog and Oberoi Cecil, Go with Oberoi, best in class!

Food is very good services are good Oberoi is brand but this property is not according to Oberoi brand room which they offered as valley view just like road side view no park for children’s

Booking hotels and finding stay were much easier with make my trip..some stays were very sophisticated but some were not worth the amount we spent.Moreover finding luxurious property’s location,food,amenities and services were kinda better. Furthermore Oberoi hotel was up to the mark and as a family it was comfortable staying there.

It’s a lovely hotel giving you the antique and royal feeling !! Entire staff is cooperative and welcoming with their exceptional services. Much recommended hotel in Shimla !!

It’s a beautiful hotel that blends old world charm with modern amenities and impeccable service. The food is delicious, the spa and pool delightful, and the staff made my stay memorable.
