The Oberoi Udaivilas

We visited Udaivilas for 2 days to celebrate my sister’s and dad’s birthday and can I say that it was absolutely fantastic! Right from the airport pickup to a boat ride to complimentary upgrades to the three birthday cakes, it was one hell of a birthday celebration! I would especially like to mention the following folks: Soham and Tarun - Our servers for the majority of the meals. They were extremely polite, friendly and made us extremely comfortable. All their food recommendations were spot on and we extremely enjoyed their service! Fariyad - he was our driver on our way to Shri EkLingJi and he was very courteous, hospitable and knowledgeable! A great drive to the temple! Prabhu - the guard sure knows the best spots for clicking all the pictures! He saw us clicking pictures and offered to help and may I say that he should pursue photography, haha! Raghuvandra - the chef shared his recipes with us and the food was just amazing! Every single dish we tasted was mouth-watering and I can say that I have had the best meals here, definitely a step up from Taj and Ananda! The entire housekeeping team - they looked after us and were mostly invisible but it was their attention to detail and the way they cleaned our rooms and looked after us that made our stay amazing! Lastly, the whole team at Oberoi honestly! From the manager, Mr. Amit to Ms. Nandini to Manikho, everybody made our stay memorable and we cut three birthday cakes for my dad and sister in one day! Thank you for making their special days memorable and for making us feel at home! We will surely come back!

The location is 45 mins from the Airport but MakeMyTrip made it easy by including free Airport pickup and drop facilities in our package. Food is brilliant provided if you are ready to spend on it. There are two restaurants Udaimahal and Suryamahal but both are crazy expensive. The services like spa are again brilliant, the hospitality of staff and their gestures are too good. On the whole it's an experience worth your money.
A dream place for honeymooners and couples, luxury taken to a different level. The property itself is a 50 acre campus with royal architecture. Looks beautiful, and I have to mention about the staff, so so soo friendly and they do almost everything possible to keep your stay awesome. Rooms are clean and well maintained, bathroom facilities are brilliant. The spa is a little but expensive but the treatments they provide is soo good that you wouldn't mind paying for it. There are two swimming pools one near the rooms and one in the spa, the view from the spa pool is mind blowing. I would really recommend one to stay there at least once in their lifetime. Out of the world experience, one word to describe their services, brilliant just brilliant.

The whole property was so expansive and breathtaking. Rooms were very spacious and had all the things you need to make your stay amazing. Our rooms were garden view and this The Oberoi Udaivilas probably has one of the best garden views there can be. The gardens were filled with peacocks and peahens. The check in process was great too. Probably the only thing we didn’t like was that there was a constraint of dining space during breakfast. Tables were not available and the The Oberoi Udaivilas could work on expanding the dining area for breakfast. Nonetheless, the restaurant staff was helpful in getting us a table soon enough and she was also apologetic about the rush. Walking around the property in the daytime and during the night is delightful. Overall, we are definitely glad we booked our stay in this The Oberoi Udaivilas. The staff is also very obliging when you ask them to take your pictures which is an added plus, of course. )

We were here for our honeymoon and the entire experience exceeded our expectation. I wish i could extend my stay. Probably, after staying in other luxury and 5 star The Oberoi Udaivilass, one thing i can say that oberoi udaivilla really gives you royal treatment whether it's pickup, drop or stay. I would like to apologise that it took a while to share this entire experience. Specially i would like thank mr. Pulkit, mr. Akarsh (a great photographer), mr. Aman, mr. Ishan(thanks for your food suggestion) and a special thanks to the chef(forgot his name) for preparing delicious dishes like ghewaar, gulabi kheer, khus-e-rann etc. Mr. Akarsh was our property tour guide and helped us to capture our amazing moments. All the staffs were very kind, courteous & friendly. Probably i forgot name of other staffs with whom we interacted during our stay and i would like to thank them for their efforts to make the experience amazing.

The experience in the Oberoi was really amazing when we entered we just feel like royal and after the entry there is a lotus pond that is really outstanding reception area is big and beautiful and they welcoming the guest with traditional turban to men's and beautiful stole to women. Room was good and clean staff was friendly and solved your problems in a minute, location is amazing and a very peaceful place you can heard a voice of peacocks and birds. Value for money. Veg menu in bar is disappointing but multi cuisine restaurant is superb you can also ordered drinks there. Pool was really good next to the room. Lovely place visit again in 4-5 months.

The title of india's no. 1 resort is apt for the property, for it's luxury, customer service, comfort and most importantly food. The best part was the cook with the chef activity. Loved the enthusiasm of head chef for indian kitchen chef gopi who was passionate and fun loving guy who taught me the art of tandoor and rajasthan's iconic lal maas which made me fall in love with it instantly, vl remember the taste for a long time. On our last day the chef surprised us with a very unique dish called ghosht beliram wich was amazing and mutton biryani which is one of the best hyderabadi dum biryani u vl ever taste.

We had an exceptional experience at udaivilas. The hospitality, ambience, and attention to detail is top notch. We loved our stay and hope to be back soon. We were a family of 3 including one 14 yo, and one surprise was the 15k inr additional charge per night because they don’t allow more than 2 adults per room (and treat >12 yo as adults. We also stayed at the taj lake palace which has the same policy but they didn’t charge us anything additional. This rate transparency would be helpful for visitors, and hence taking one star away from an otherwise a very pleasant stay in a magnificent facility.

Stayed for 3 nights, definitely the best hospitality we have experienced. Having traveled extensively across the globe I can confidently say that Udaivillas is in a different league. It offers much more than the normal 5-star experience, the staff really makes you feel at home taking care of minor details with perfection. Right from the moment we landed in Udaipur to final drop, the staff made sure every moment was memorable! Ambience and food is top-notch giving you a royal Rajasthani experience. A rare 5-star where you may actually end up feeling under-charged!

We were confused between leela, taj and udaivilas. Glad we made this choice. This property has it all - best views, large rooms, activities for kids as well as amazing food options. Most courteous staff i have come across.

Soft welcome starts at gate at arrival, welcome by arti and welcome juice which was different and pleasing polite staff checked us in smoothly. Tool amritari fish in lunch which was palate friendly and po. Tion was satisfactory breakfast second day was normal as other The Oberoi Udaivilas brand but saw salmone first time breakfast. And relished. May be in near future we enjoy dinner too
