The location is nice and has potential, but the property needs better maintenance and cleanliness, particularly in the tents and surrounding areas. The walk-in restroom feels cramped, and there is no proper seating area near the tents. A shortage of staff is also impacting the quality of hospitality. On the positive side, the barbecue and food were enjoyable. Overall, the experience did not feel worth the high price paid.

It was a great experience, as the caretaker Mugendra took utmost care to setup barbecue & bonfire even though it was just me & my wife on the property considering it was a weekday. The whole area is lush green and the best time to visit would be around May - July considering the pears will be ripe. Must try for an offbeat experience.

The property is easy to find, silver cascade falls is nearby. Hot water is available only during morning. They have also kept a kettle for heating water. During the day there is a humming noise from the uriya processing plant. The host is very polite and patient. Amazing food veg and non veg. Bonfire during dinner, barbeque music no mosquitos, very negligible leeches the property is very colorful with tress, and decorated with abandoned car and bike. All the beauty and feel of camping without the downside of camping.

Great place and location. Excellent food prepared by manager mr. Mugilanandhan. Must visit in pear season to enjoy pears as it was off season during our visit. Container rooms has basic amenities. Superb view of kodaikanal town in night.

Stay in the middle of pear trees were good and the service was great. Food was good can be improved.

Good experience

The worst experience in the pear bed is not cleaned properly, torn and fungus pillow bed sheet and bed spreads. Heavy smelled room and bed. Worst morning breakfast and for barbeque and dinner they were changed 560 that is also not worth it for the money, so cold in the container. We can't keep our legs in it. Customer service worst food service is also the worst i would never recommend this resort to anyone else.

Good service, campfire & bbq was awesome. View from the stay while campfire was mesmerizing. You'll get a lot of pears too.

I went with my husband and my pet. The place was so peaceful. The manager there mr. Mugendran was so friendly and helpful. He made sure we had a comfortable stay and was available in phone 24/7. The bbq at night followed by dinner with a view to the kodai town was mesmerising. I would surely recommend this place to stay and am planning to visit again with my family.

The resort has been closed for the last 8 to 9 months, it is in terrible need of maintenance, food is average, no hot water.

If you ask me to describe it in one word. This is "heaven" stay in tent- amazing experience food- no less than restaurants food that we buy generally. Hygiene- always on top of it. People- welcoming.

The hotel is in so nice place and the view was so good from the top. Food was so hygienic. Service and the staff behaviour was so good. We are so happy. Only thing is better if they col-our out the rooms because it looks bit dirty i mean the walls and bathroom.

Rooms are not clean, bathroom condition is below average. Good was good. Hot water was available only for very limited time

The property was very beautiful and secure, with a view from the property that was awesome, campfire, barbeque and food is good. Staff are very friendly. We enjoyed our stay.

We recently had the opportunity to stay at the pear county resort for a few nights and we must say, it was a wonderful experience. The resort itself was stunning, nestled in a beautiful location surrounded by pear trees. Our stay at the resort was nothing short of fantastic. The staff was attentive and ensured that we had a memorable experience. The accommodations, delectable homely food options, an unforgettable getaway. We would recommend this resort to anyone seeking to spend some time in nature.

The location is 5km away from kodaikanal city, but the entire city is visible from the stay. The view is beautiful even in day and night. The container stay is awesome, a bit congested but that's fine, given the location. Also the staff mugendran anna and jay-anti akka are very friendly and nice. Also the barbeque with fireplace is a must try! overall, a crazy experience for 2 night stay.

Had a wonderful stay. Murugendran did a great job there managing everything. The food was really good, the best part was the view from the cabins.

The place is awesome as always as it is kodaikanal, varieties of options to stay in a tent or a family room. Manger mugendran took good care of us and made us feel comfortable and the barbeque was mouth watering. Little place for indoor activities and morning trekking view spots are awesome. As the name says it's pear county. The land is of 300acres of peer. Good and affordable stay.
