THE PELLING RESORT

We stayed for one night in one of their premium rooms. The room was large, well furnished and with all amenities. The staff were courteous and well behaved, particularly the staff at the reception were very suave and helpful. If you drive your own vehicle, the property has a open but secured and large parking space. The food though not of gourmet standard was quite good. However do not except clear mountain / kanchenjunga views from their rooms. The tall trees in front of the room obstruct the views. The rooms at their topmost floor (lower category) have better views, but still obstructed by the trees. However the location of property should take care of this as it is literally a 3 min walk away from the pelling helipdad. You can always walk to the helipad and gorge on the views to your hearts content. Just next to the THE PELLING RESORT is the adventure shop with a small grass strip from where paragliding flights are launched. When paragliding is not on, take permission from the shop owner and visit the strip to be rewarded with breathtaking views of the valley below. Overall a nice THE PELLING RESORT, though a bit on the pricey side, but recommended for the amenities and the location.

While we traveled from big cities such as Gangtok and Sikkim on our trip till now our first reaction was that The staff is little inexperienced, electricity is not consistent and THE PELLING RESORT is small. But we realized soon that Pelling is not in City and our expectations are misplaced. Sooner we realized it we started loving The place it was peaceful, great location just walking distance from zero point, close to helicopter pad, and sky walk. The staff is simple and very well behaved. The most important thing The food is excellent. If you are a vegetarian then I cannot complain either of The food quality, hygiene or The food options. They have gender available till late night unlike many other THE PELLING RESORT who have just inverters.

A nice THE PELLING RESORT in Upper Pelling. A little bit of a walk to the center of Pelling, but good if you want a quiet location. The THE PELLING RESORT promised views of Mt. Kanchenjunga; and while it was very hazy/cloudy, there were trees in the way even if it had been clear. And the THE PELLING RESORT did not have WiFi even though they had advertised that they did online. The other drawback was that the THE PELLING RESORT was pure veg, and so you couldn’t even have eggs at breakfast. On the positive side, the staff was very nice and friendly, and were especially helpful in getting medicines from the pharmacy when I told them I had a stomach upset.

Had been in Pelling for 3 nights last month. Had a pleasant stay. The food is good. Staff are friendly and cordial. The only thing that would have made our stay more pleasant is if we didn't have to be behind the house keeping staff for tea or coffee refills and for getting our complimentary water. The view from the balcony was breath taking. Overall a nice experience. The resort is located within walking distance of the helipad, Kanchenjunga view tower and 2 monasteries.

Overall i would give 3/5, no temp checks and other measures, very less staffs, rooms are great, room heater not provided. The worst part is cost of food, they took 500- for rice, dal and veg savjis 1plate, and 600-for 2 pc mutton.

We stayed as a couple for 2 nights and were recommended this THE PELLING RESORT by a friend of ours who had stayed in May-18 in the room (not cottage). While The staff right from gm, Mr. Surajit das till The reception were courteous, The room itself was nowhere to The mark with leeches in the bathroom and spider in The room. There is a stark difference in The quality and ambiance of THE PELLING RESORT rooms and cottage rooms. Food is excellent.

Though it was just a single day trip it was a great experience. The Pelling Resort was above my expectations. Room was clean with beautiful decoration, great location. It's a great place to go and relax for a couple of days. Just a simple tip from me carry enough cash in hand as you cannot trust ATMs in Pelling. Not a single complaint with the THE PELLING RESORT. Keep up the good work. Will definitely suggest it to all my friends and family.

Very close to helipad from where Kanchenjunga view is The best. Veg restaurant was good and The food was tasty. The receptionist/care taker was very helpful and flexible with our needs. The cottage rooms were a bit small for a family of four. Although neat and clean. Rooms are not designed to withstand cold weather, so you would need heaters which are chargeable. This should have been made complementary.

Location is good if the clouds are not there and food is amazing.

Rooms are very spacious. Staff is very courteous. Food is of good quality and cheap as well. Awesome view from balcony. I stayed here for 2 days while on honeymoon. I will recommend it for couples as well as family.

I have visited Pelling on honeymoon . The hospitality is exceptional, staff had treated us like we are the part of their family . Excellent food you may have not tasted such a good quality food . Cleanliness of room is superb with a very good room service . Location of the THE PELLING RESORT is the best in Pelling . Its totally valuable for money.

We got a room at The Pelling Resort through Makemytrip at a great price. Our stay was comfortable. The rooms are in excellent condition with good space. Hospitality was excellent. The food is decent. Loved our stay.
