The PHEASANT INN-2 BHK Homestay

Happy with our stay at Pheasant Inn. We were a group of 7 and made the booking a day before arriving here. Expectations weren't very high with our stay as we got it a day before and on an extended weekend. We were decently surprised when we got a very warm and welcoming reception by the owner of the property who was the host for us. Very kind and polite host, sadly this was the best part of our stay. We booked the entire property and I have to say I was disappointed by the size of the rooms. The images put up here were slightly misleading, it gave an impression to be quite spacious but it's very congested both inside and outside of the house. We had two cars the lane leading upto the property is so narrow that at a time only a car could fit and there isn't any space to turn the car around as well. We were there in 2 cars and had to go all the way to the starting of the lane to get our car out on the roads. Inside the house as well, 7 beds that were put up had taken up space to such an extent that there barely was any left for walking. Amongst the things I liked was neatness of the place, the location was ok (on the way to Mandalpatti from Madikeri), the hospitability of host (he even arranged for an extra restroom for us in one of his unoccupied property within the same premises, arranged homemade tea). Overall I would rate our stay as 4/5 largely because of the fact that we booked it a day in advance and got it for a decent price.

It was a very nice cozy apartment with all major amenities and very helpful and amiable owners who helped us throughout to plan the trip and also to get reliable modes of transportations. It was a great experience and would definitely recommend to anyone who’s planning a trip to coorg!

Property is located in a very good place. Staff is very good and supportive. Reception is helpful. Food is very tasty we had South indian food there. Everything went well very much satisfied with The stay. I will definitely recommend this property.

The place was very neat and clean with ample amount of space. The landlord was very decent. He guided us for the places what we should visit or what place are worth it to visit. Overall the place is very decent to go with family or friends.

It was an amazing experience with a helpful host always available for a call and give his detailed guidance. The property was well maintained, clean and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone. Thank you!

Nicely cleaned maintained rooms. The owner is very humble and supportive. The only concern is that there is no good restaurant near the homestay.

Overall experience was good, location wise also nice. Owner is friendly and no complain about service.
