Property is located atop a hillock and is surrounded by lush green forests everywhere. The treehouse type Chalets offer pristine view of the valley and other hillocks. It is better to rent a self-driven car, otherwise, you will have to shell out a lot of money to go around. Plenty of wildlife to keep nature enthusiasts busy. During our stay, we saw Flying Squirrels, Toucans, Monkeys and Langurs. There are two wildlife sanctuaries nearby, and if you’re lucky, you could see Tigers as well. The only negative feedback is that the Restaurant does not offer enough local dishes. The closest alternative place to eat is quite far, so I am reemphasizing the importance of a self-driven car. Overall, nice place to unwind. While you are here, do take a dip in the Infinity pool, overlooking the valley and cozy up near the bonfire while chatting with friends family and other guests.

This The Porcupine Castle is around 20 km from dub-are elephant camp it is spread over 300 acre coffee plantation on a hilltop surrounded by greenery all the rooms are located on a edge of the mountain with the unbelievable fantastic view of the valley and the greenery around every room has a beautiful balcony where you can sit and enjoy the sunset the view can easily match or beat taj madikeri views at a fraction of the cost the food quality and the service of the people at this The Porcupine Castle is unbelievable if i go back to coorg then definitely i will stay at this The Porcupine Castle and just relax and chill i strongly recommend do not miss this facility if you are going to coorg at least for a day one needs to experience it

This place is excellent for family, its clean, the staff are very polite and all the facilities work perfectly. The locality is exquisite to get lost in nature. Though there is not much outdoor activity; but TT Board, Foosball, Small Trampoline for kids, Infinite pool and abundant scenery is good enough to spend 2 days in peace. Having said that, food is costlier if you buy it as a-la-carte for lunch. Dinner is usually buffet and is part of your package, which is okay. Also, South Indian food is totally ignored (both lunch & dinner) is disappointing. While I sit on hilltop of south Karnataka mountain and there is no local delicacy is extremely tough to understand.

We loved our stay at the The Porcupine Castle. It’s a bit far from city but those who love the nature this is the correct place. Food was buffet (breakfast and dinner) and we loved each and every dish. The activities were excellent. Love the explanation of mani during the plantation tour. Each and every one was very humble and took care of us very well. Taxi services tie ups are also superb and are well coordinated. One personal suggestion is those who are planning to book the cottage before the coffee plantation is not worth. It leads to climb a steep hill and you may feel weird in climbing that to go to breakfast and dinner. Rest everything is very good.

Very good resort, clean big rooms with wonderful view, bonfire n music at night was fun. N most importantly delicious food, food quality n service is un matchable. Coffee estate tour in morning was good n informative. They come to your rooms within mins after asking service, they go out of they to make guest comfortable. Food option also in buffet if u ask them to customize lil acc to your taste, they gladly do. I travel a lot, n i can definitely say this was very good stay only cons i would like to no liquor. N no food or drinks allowed near bonfire n pool area. We are sitting there for hrs so food should be allowed there

Property is well maintained, beautiful location, complementary plantation tour included. Good food but little costly compared to city centre restaurants. Rooms are big and balcony is awasome. Service is good. Liked the idea of creating wats app group for each guest. Only issue is that property is away from medikari so taxi will charge you more. It takes 1 hour from medikari d to every time going to medikari is costly and time consuming. Swimming pool is beautiful. View from swimming pool is great.

Porcupine Resort - Remarkable view from the room ... The cap of mist over the mountains on the top and lush green Coffee gardens down. Surreal! The rooms were spacious and neat, and the service amiable. We thoroughly enjoyed the vegetarian food spread for breakfast and dinner. Pros: 1) Amazing location and peaceful environment, surrounded by valley and mountain views. 2) Extremely away from city crowd, perfect get away. 3) Most beautiful and well maintained pool, facing valley. One can never explain the amazing valley view of the pool. Cons: 1) Food. 2) Food. 3) Food. 4) Kindly recruit a chef, who can cook TamilNadu, Andhra dishes. (This is a serious suggestion to the management. You will loose recurring customer base because of the food taste you provide. 5) Food.

The stay was a very pleasant one. The staff and it's hospitality is way above the standard. They will make you so comfortable and will be there for your needs. Food quality and taste is also amazing. Highly recommended for your stay in coorg!

The location and the view from the resort is good. The food was good. The behavior of staffs were very good and helpful. The rooms and the property was well maintained.

The staff was practicing good hygiene, everyone was wearing masks, temperature was checked and a tray with sanitiser was placed at the entrance to sanitise your shows as well

Location is amazing in coorg. Breakfast and lunch/dinner buffet was average as any other non-5 star south property. Hygiene and safety was good.

Fantastic place, very good food and excellent room service. 100% value for money. Staff supports almost all requirements. Amazing weather experience too. Road to resort is bit broken but it’s a good experience to drive through green coffee plantation.

The resort guys were quite rude. They charged for a item which we ordered but was not delivered. At the final bill we informed that the item was not delivered to which the reception desk guy said we have camera evidence. Later the General manager apologized. No vehicle was provided at night to enter the resort. Resort guys need to be polite with guests. Overall stay was awesome

The location is splendid. The place is recommended. The beautiful country town of Pollibetta is nearby.

It was a wonderful l stay. Clean rooms, smiling and ever obliging staffs. Great food. The buffet had a good assortment of food for dinner and break fast. The morning guide walk thru the plantation was nice. Thanks to multilingual mr. Martin for engaging everyone. Over all a very beautiful l place

Resort was situated on the coffee plantation surroundings. Room view was superb. Food was tasty. Worth staying!

Very nice for couple. We asked them to arranged a candle light dinner and it was done beautifully. Go only if you want to chill out in The resort. Sightseeing is quite far from This resort.

Incredible stay we had ever and wonderful location n view from balcony and room.
Room service charge extra at 20 % is too high. Property is on hill top and from rooms to go to restaurants ii's difficult cling for seniors and physically challenged guests. Also they should have wide selection for meals and live counters for breakfast.
