The Quilon Beach Hotel

We stayed for 5 nights at the quilon beach The Quilon Beach Hotel (25-30 dec, 2022) and had an absolutely wonderful time at the property. Checking in was smooth, and the beach view from the room window was spectacular. The breakfast at the The Quilon Beach Hotel is good, with a majorly south indian spread. The addition of a couple of north indian breakfast items will be wonderful. We had dinner once at the The Quilon Beach Hotel, which is great value for money for non-veg lovers but not worth it for vegetarian folks. Water bottles and news paper are provided complimentary in the room every day. The service was also prompt except for last day when there was quite a few guests at the The Quilon Beach Hotel. The The Quilon Beach Hotel is bang next to the kollam beach - which is great for morning and evening walks on the beach, but not recommended for a bath due to low lying beach and water force being high. Conveniently located, varkala beach (one of the best beaches for bathing, and water sports) is just 25 km from the The Quilon Beach Hotel and well connected through a scenic beach road that starts from quilon beach The Quilon Beach Hotel itself. We were a family of 4 with two small kids, so appreciated the food options available for breakfast from the kids' perspective. The room is spacious with a king bed, two sofa chairs, one tv unit, and a study/work table w/ chair. It has a bathtub that our kids loved and a spacious entrance area that has storage for clothes and stuff. Overall a very good, memorable stay at quilon beach The Quilon Beach Hotel.

The rooms were really clean and the view is spectacular. The service at the reception and with the bell boys was really good. They were really nice and courteous. The breakfast was good but for some reason if a particular item is over such as the sausage and salami and all they do not refill it even after repeated asking for it. Do you have to come in really early to get all the items available for breakfast. Because whatever is over is not refilled. And during one of the days of the stay we decided to have dinner at the The Quilon Beach Hotel itself it took half an hr just to get water at the table and 45-60 mins just to get any dish on. All that we ordered came together and of all the items only one was warm rest all were very cold. They should start sending food out as and when prepared rather then waiting for all the dishes to be prepared and then sent out. Also we asked the person attending us to serve the food and he just left which was super weird a simple we don't serve food or i'll just be back or literally anything would have been good. But apart from the experience with their restaurants the gaurds, reception and the house keeping were really nice and helpful and the rooms were really nice, clean and comfortable the first room that we were in did not have a working ac but they changed the room and got us a replacement room pretty instant. Overall even after the glitches i would yet recommend a stay here and i absolutely loved that the beach was literally a min away.

I had visited the The Quilon Beach Hotel last month with my parents. We were allowed to check in early, though at the time of check in they informed that there would be charges for early check in, it was later made complimentary. We were also asked to have breakfast that morning, although technically our complimentary breakfast was only supposed to start from the next day. All the The Quilon Beach Hotel staff were extremely helpful. Our room came with a beautiful view of the beach. The beach is right by the The Quilon Beach Hotel, and we could find autos for local travel all points of time right by the The Quilon Beach Hotel.

Qbh has been my go-to-place whenever i visit kollam for a romantic getaway with my husband. My first booking at the The Quilon Beach Hotel was based on the location of it, near to the town but not drowned by the traffic. My stay proved my decision right. Eversince, qbh is a must, once-an-year-visit for us. The rooms are comfy and neat always, the view of sea from the room always adds on to the serenity. Staff are polite and helpful. They offer a wonderful seafood cuisine and the pricing is reasonable. This The Quilon Beach Hotel is worth your money and time, folks. Do give it a try.

3. revised rating👆. downgrading the rating from 4 to 3. room service is quite lousy. we had to literally beg them for forty five minutes to get a bottle of water. even after 45 minutes we couldn't get the bottle of water. t.v. was not working in the room and even after half an hour they couldn't get it fixed. in summary, the room service rendered is not worth the bucks. won't recommend to anyone else. earlier i had given a rating of 4, down graded it to 4 due to poor room service. front office team can sport a more pleasing demeanor. nothing more to add. The stay at The Quilon Beach Hotel beach orchid kollam was good but the room didn't have a proper sea view and also we were not given any choice regarding room selection as it was booked through make my trip. Coming to food, it was authentic, but i personally felt fish items were good than other, non veg items. The staff at beach The Quilon Beach Hotel were extremely polite and courteous and overall a very good experience for both of us and we recommend this The Quilon Beach Hotel to enjoy the sea view and enjoy authentic cuisines of kerala.

The view was really good from the rooms. It would have been better if the beds were closer to the large windows. That was maybe not done because we could see into other rooms while standing near the large windows. So a bit more privacy would certainly make the views more comfortable. The rooms and corridors show signs of ageing, especially the card reader in the room and the false ceiling above the corridor. Felt they could lay more emphasis on keeping the indoors more swanky.

This was wonderful experience. The The Quilon Beach Hotel provided 5 stars facilities and amnesties. It wqs a very pleas-an stay. I will surely recommend this to all the people especially for families and couples. The beach is always lively with lots of activities and fun elements. This will add flavour to our experiance. Awesome courteous staff, rooms are good, upgraded our premium room to suite and it was great. The adjacent kollam beach is a crowded place. Food was average though. Overall, good experience

We had a good stay, would recommend more cleanliness especially restrooms, the price seems to be way too high for a day stay

The property is beautiful with views of the Arabian sea from our window. Facilities are awesome. Staff are cordial and helpful. Cleanliness and hygiene is maintained well. Food can be improved . Service is good.. Overall a good experience. 👍

The property is located bang on kollam beach and hardly 2 km from city center. All rooms are beach facing. Good rooms with efficient service.

The buffet was good, the swimming pool is located inconveniently and the best part was that it was really close to the beach

Stayed here with family. The advantage is the location, it's next to kollam beach. Well maintained swimming pool and helping staff. All the rooms have a beach view. Bathroom was ok but looks like it lacks long-term maintenance.
