THE REGAL

It was an excellent stay purely because of ever courteous staff. However there are still some scope for improvement. The staff were asked to remove some left clothes by previous occupant which they forgot despite of couple of reminders, they should listen to requests better. Request to fix the noisy loose bathroom exhaust fan was taken care of but they again forgot to fix. The loose toilet seat despite of a couple of reminders. But the above mentioned points would not deter me from re staying in this THE REGAL again. Special thanks to Manish and Durga at the office and Abhi in the restaurant. Keep up the good work guys but. Just listen more actively. Thanks Kunal and family they provided 2 biscuits, 2 appy fizz, 2 apples for our early checkout 5:00 AM. They did say to try to include some bread slices but couldn't.

Hi, we were travelling to Gangtok in 3rd and 4th week of February. Hotel has all the amenities as mentioned in MakeMyTrip. Hotel staff and manager very co-operative. Unfortunately, I forgot my wallet and mobile in one of The taxi on The very next day of my stay in THE REGAL. The THE REGAL manager and staff helped us to retrieve The taxi number using their THE REGAL camera recordings. I am very thankful to manager and all THE REGAL staff for their co-operation. It was good to see how keen and responsible they are toward their guests. Room service was good and THE REGAL was clean and hygienic, good breakfast with heavy to light options. Dinner was nice. All together it was a pleasant stay. I would highly recommend this THE REGAL, especially if you are travelling with family and kids. Have a nice stay.

Overall location wise good. Budget wise better than most THE REGALs except The food rest of The stay was pleasant good hospitable staff and room service keeping in mind all stores gets closed by 10 THE REGAL is pretty good. would love to come and stay here again. We stayed three nights in this THE REGAL Service was good. Rooms were really clean good housekeeping. Yes it is a bit far from mg mark but you get running cabs. The THE REGAL staff was very polite and helpful. A really safe location. The view from The THE REGAL was beautiful. The only downside of this THE REGAL is The food. I felt it was overpriced based on The quality. The room had all necessary amenities, ambiance was good, a comfortable bed all necessary toiletries equipped with a working geyser.

Location is 4.5 KM from main City center. Shared taxi charges per person. If you have to return after 9 PM you'll have to hire a reserved taxi.
Good THE REGAL and nice staff. Very helpful and well behaved staff. Rooms are spacious and clean. Room service does a great job. Its a treat to enter a clean, tidy and fragrant room after a tiring day. Curtains could be cleaner though and they seriously need to update their amenities section ea. Go there are no balconies and black drapes in rooms. Deluxe rooms windows have no view and in fact look in to The rooms of THE REGAL next door but The manager was accommodating enough to upgrade us to executive room. Overall an excellent experience.

Location is a good to view from the room of 5th floor is awesome. Plus point of THE REGAL is it has lift and that was working nicely. Breakfast was good and the restaurant was also good. We enjoyed our dinner looking through the roadside glass view. Room is spacious, no AC but fan is there. Led TV with had channels is definitely a good feature. Bathroom are enough large with luxurious look with heater, and hand washes dispenser. The only issue with the THE REGAL is less manpower. Although the property is good but they are unable to keep it clean upto the mark. We found the basin of their restaurant dirty. Overall stay was good.

We traveled in a small group in February 2019, where we received the best hospitality in Sikkim. So this time in July, we again traveled in a big group and had taken 3 executive rooms in The Regal. The breakfast served was equivalent to 5-star category quality and quantity. While on National Highway, this is 5 km away from MG Marg - hence you can protect yourself from the crowd. I would always prefer booking this THE REGAL whenever I go. Cabs take 25/- and 10 mins to reach the market. Plus point: You reach there quickly since this is before the main Gangtok centre. Hence, you can avoid the jam almost every time.

Fantastic place to stay, the staffs are very cordial and helpful. Starting from the security, reception, restaurant every single one of it's staff is worth mentioning because of their hospitality. Rooms are clean, view from the front side room is really good. The food from the restaurant is amazing. Good range of breakfast is available, besides that a la carte options are also very good. If you are looking for a homely place to stay in Gangtok, this place is highly recommended.

Hi my name is DJ Jennifer I booked a THE REGAL with my boyfriend to have a quality time together. Which was absolutely fine. But to much of extra tax and gst charges. Staff at the front desk was horrible. It is just so difficult for them to wish good morning and smile. And when we did by ourself. No response. Anyways just a question what is The point of using Make My Trip. When we still have to pay so much for a THE REGAL per night. When your offer only shows less. Very upset.

This property has good view. The food quality is not good. It's 15 minutes drive from m go Road. This place is in ta dong, you easily get an share cab from m. Go Road. Just you have to compromise on food. Rest it is nice.

Value for money. 6 km from MG Marg, therefore a bit uncomfortable. WiFi goes off regularly. Service is okay. Food is eatable.

Good location, good food and good serving staff make my stay awesome

This THE REGAL is a little far from the gangtok proper town hence it was an ideal staying experience for us. Staffs were cordial and the lady manager is also very good host

The THE REGAL room and bathroom was spacious and clean. Staff was courteous and kind. Breakfast was simple (aloo puri, omelet, paratha) but good. Food was decent. View from higher floor room is better. It is away from the crowded centre and hustle bustle. It is 4-5kms from mg marg but it is fairly simple to reach there in inr 120-150 bucks. Would recommend the place overall for a budget, comfortable and hygienic stay.

Stay at THE REGAL was very comfortable as there staff were very good and helpful. Food quality was average but service was good. View from The room to The Valley was awesome and is beautiful. Thank you for The quality time.
