THE REGENCY

The room was quite spacious, though I booked it for 3 people, including me. In fact, I couldn't ask for a larger room at the very price I paid. There was so much vacant space to not feel confined or suffocated. My room was facing the road and sun, so it was hotter than the other inner rooms. Though it had no AC, there was one stand fan and one wall fan, and a Bajaj cooler. There was a window towards the roadside of the room and another towards its side. We opened the window towards the side of the room, but didn't check of the window towards the front could be opened. You can have a satisfying view of the busy road and the town in the evening from the very spacious and safe balcony that was just outside the room. There was a very wide space just outside my room and inside the balcony space where you can have your meals, esp dinner when the outside gets comfortably cold. In the evening, you can get rid of the heat by opening the doors and windows. But you have to keep them open. Once you close them, the room again gets hot because it is an RCC building. But late at night the room gets cold even with doors and windows closed. So, take this room if you want to have quick access to the balcony and if you can bear the heat during daytime and if you want to save a few hundred rupees by not booking an AC room. There was a TV, a large wooden almirah. There was a wooden table, a dressing mirror. There was a mirror in the bathroom. Geyser and hot water were also available. The flush was strong and held sufficient water. The bathroom and toilet were quite clean. The maids cleaned all of them just before my entry. But I feel someone can see you through the bathroom ventilator glass when he/she stands on the roof just of the floor. The staff and maids were friendly and co-operative. Just below my floor there was a restaurant named "Kharoli" where you can order food for room delivery. Also, there was Domino's for room delivery just below my room and towards the road. Beside the THE REGENCY building there was Sohum for shopping. I like everything about the room. Nothing to complain. Can't ask for a larger room at the price.

As I was on work, did not have much time to visit any of the locations near about.
Room sizes are quite decent enough so as the bathroom. The THE REGENCY is not manged by professionals but the staff are well behaved and did their best to make our stay comfortable.

Stay was very comfortable. Staff is guest friendly. Cleanliness is appreciable. But the only difficulty was lack of parking area. Car had to park roadside in day time. during night hours provide a congested area on the basement having the capacity for two cars only.

The THE REGENCY is located in a prime location of the city. Staff of the THE REGENCY is really very good. Rooms are neat and clean and well sanitised. A perfect stay. Food is awesome.

The THE REGENCY is clean and quiet. The staffs are quite good. And the THE REGENCY is in a good location where shopping malls, restaurants, grocery, etc are all nearby

Overall it was a cozy experience. The entrance was a bit unhygienic but the room was good, also good hospitality. It was a good stay
