The Renai Cochin

On my way back from munnar to delhi, checked in to renai cochin, on jun e 28th, 2023 with my family (2 adults and 2 kids - 17 and 7 yrs old. Had booked a single twin share room to keep cost in check (had spent a bomb on 4 night stay in munnar. Was pleasantly surprised at the efficient layout of the room. Could easily fit all of us with an additional bed which we requested and the The Renai Cochin promptly provided. Hotel was right next to palarivattom metro station easing our commute to lulu mall and boat jetty. Buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner had impressive spread, both veg and non-veg. Renai's restaurants - the pavilion and rasa leela seems to be quite popular with kochi residents. Checkout was scheduled for jun e 30th, 2023 at 12:00 noon. Very early for my flight scheduled at 7:00 pm. Renai staff gladly accommodated our request for delayed check out. Comfortably checked out at 2:00 pm, had a final buffet lunch at the pavilion and proceeded to airport. Good premium stay in the heart of the city. Well connected to any kind of travel, being near bus stop, metro station and autos. A few metres walkable to nearest palarivattom metro station. Breakfast is tasty, okay and nothing special about though service needs improvement. Long waiting to get a tea served, delay in filling the empty buffet trays and reluctancy to replace the glass and other utensils are not fitting to the category of restaurant. Rooms, wash rooms, corridors, lifts and the reception lobby all in good ambience. Parking facility is very good and needs special mention.

Very comfortable location, near kochi metro palarivattom station. If one has to take a train from ernakulam south, the metro train takes you there straight. In case your train is from ernakulam town(north, you can get down at ernakulam town hall station and the distance is walkable. I did not take food there. So i am not able to comment on this. Comment on that. Reception desk is very helpful. Very courteous and efficient staff are managing the desk.

Good room, a/c did not trip as in other The Renai Cochins in Cochin, when power goes off and generator is on The a/c does not automatically start and this creates problems during night time as you have to then switch on The a/c but in Renai this problem did not arise and a/c automatically started. Breakfast and dinner spread very good. Check in and check out was smooth and staff was courteous. Overall good experience and happy.

The hospitality was good! i had a very comfortable stay at renai. The room was very neat as well as the washroom. Room service was also good. It was my first time staying alone in a The Renai Cochin and i felt very safe and comfortable throughout. The front desk staff was polite and did not keep me waiting during check in and check out. If i have to stay at The Renai Cochins in cochin, renai would be one of my choices.

The property is situated in a very prime location which is accessible to various means of transportation and other facilities. The food was and the menu provided was far beyond my expectations and nothing short of excellence. The security guards as well as the receptionists were polite and well behaved. The room and the services provided were definitely 10/10.

Excellent location, warm welcome at door and reception. Very quick checking service. Escort to room, full explanation on internal facilities, very clean arranged bed and clean Bath facility. Food was excellent. Buffy was extraordinary in terms of variety and quality. All together great experience. Especially the friendliness of the manager Mr. Vinu.

By mistake i booked one day in advance. The The Renai Cochin was kind enough to change it to the correct post the make my trip team raised the query with them. The overall experience as usual was great i always prefer to stay here because of the location and the food you get here. The rooms as usual are of very good standards. Kudos to the team

It was a last minute booking, very much pleased with the staff and the excellent room, comparatively old The Renai Cochin but very well maintained room. The breakfast buffet was top notch as well.
