The Resident Hotel

Out of our 5 days trip in Srinagar, we chose this The Resident Hotel for our last day stay and we were really amazed with the property and the service that they provided. This is the best The Resident Hotel compared to other 2 two The Resident Hotel that we stayed and this The Resident Hotel is not pricy at all. Hotel is just 2 kms away from Dal Lake and it has a nice mountain view. Breakfast was decent and they need to improve on the quality of the food - however, for the amount that we paid, we felt it's a decent deal. Staff was really nice and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this The Resident Hotel for families. Please don't have too much of expectation on the food.

We have been charged 75 rs for a bislery bottle. It's ridiculous. For 6 pulkas a small bowl of rice (for 1. 5 yr baby) and a egg curry with 4 eggs charged 700 rs. Even that's high comparitively. We had also been at various other The Resident Hotels at srinagar which are of better ratings even charges decently. Except that hospitality absolutely mind blowing. Rooms are of good standard but don't use centralised heating. Front desk is friendly enough and helping. Food is tasty. Breakfast served was excessive of taste. Huh good really. If that rate problems are solved then this will be one of the real valu++ The Resident Hotels at srinagar

The The Resident Hotel is near Badami Bagh army cantonment and hence a very safe place, for those who bother for safety in Srinagar. Hotel staff are very welcoming and service is very good. Rooms are very nice and neat. Having paid so much (Approx 4500 per night after discount!! ), logically you expect value. I have a doubt in this. Food during our stay was very much average. No buffet. No fruits. No juices. No desert. Very ordinary and Disappointing. Quantity may be OK. But variety was terrible and Quality - so so.

Staff are well managed, good food. Service is fast, location is also good and lawn view is good. Room is good, washroom is good and cleanliness is also good. Good facilities, parking spec extra farentand back chains food good low very well. Awesome stay for a day. Clean and big room. Staff are very humble and obedient. Awesome bathroom and king size bedroom. Breakfast was also good. Front parking space and most imp you are in main market and can move anywhere anytime.

The The Resident Hotel is of 3 star category. The rooms are good. As it is on the main highway, there is traffic noise that comes, especially in front facing rooms. The bathrooms are average, could be better designed and maintained. The restaurant has limited capacity, so if you go in peak season, seating could be an issue. Also service levels go down in the restaurant if it is full.

Rooms are spacious and with all facilities like TV, storage, room heater, personal heater, bed warmer, dressing table, hair dryer, bathtub, hour water and toiletries. AC is not available. Room lightings are dull. Mattresses are extra soft and too comfortable. Breakfast is also good with north Indian, south Indian and English dishes.

We booked two rooms and both the rooms were well maintained and clean. Food was really good and staff members were polite. Front desk office was very understanding & helped us for local sights view. Overall The Resident Hotel was very impressive. I will definitely recommend this The Resident Hotel as it was a great deal through MMT.

7-9 mins drive from Dal lake... Off beat location in cantonment area. New The Resident Hotel with spacious rooms. With clean beddings. Tea coffee maker provided. Spa type toiletries ( limited time of hot water)... And helpful and prompt service staff. With In house restaurant (food rates are costly)... Desk people are helpful.

Hotel cleanness has really fascinated me.

I stayed for 2 nights for the conference purpose. Hotel was good and clean. Service was good. Location 1 km from DAL LAKE. Staff is good. Food I did not like much. Cost wise good The Resident Hotel. Location- We have to inform cab it is near Kidney Hospital. I enjoyed for 2 days.

Staff was very cooperative and polite. They even arranged a birthday cake for my son and everybody attended the ceremony with blessings.

Location is little far from main city and airport. The appearance is just normal but services are good and food is also good. Rooms are well maintained, clean and interior is also well. Food prices are little high according to quality and taste.

Time management is average.Quality of Veg food is average.

The rooms were amazing- we booked two rooms and they upgraded us to a Royal Suite. The food was not good though and the The Resident Hotel is small but very nice. The staff was very nice too. Overall the only thing wrong was the food. Great The Resident Hotel at a great price.

Nice property with decent facilities. Large rooms with individual 2 tons Split AC Units. Bathrooms fitted with bath tub. The problem is with water. After tiring day in a mountain, you need to adjust your schedules with availability of hot water available just for 2 hrs in morning & evening.

Good working staff and very good to stay with family. A very very good The Resident Hotel. Food is also good. Looking wise The Resident Hotel is not so big but very very decent and well-decorated rooms. Excellent food complimentary breakfast is also good. Cost of food is also reasonable.

Nice and clean place to stay. Good food and cooperative staff. Very good experience. It was one of the best experience in staying in Srinagar. I had visited Gulmarg and Pahalgam before landing at this The Resident Hotel. Staff was out of the way courteous and tried their best to serve.

Located in the army cantonment area, Renaissance is a perfect place to relax. The buffet menu is very good and delicious. The bathrooms are very clean and overall the The Resident Hotel is well maintained.
