THE RETREAT

Recently stayed at this hotel, with my family group of 15 people and my experience. Room Condition: Initially, few given room had a strong damp smell and felt quite uncomfortable. After raising a complaint, the staff changed room, which was a better improvement. However, such issues shouldn’t exist in the first place in a hotel of this standard. Lift & Accessibility: One of the biggest inconveniences was that the lift was not working most of the time. This was extremely difficult for our senior family members, who had to use the stairs multiple times. For a hotel that accommodates families, this was completely unacceptable and showed poor management. Bathroom: There was a persistent issue with the bathroom flush. It took multiple complaints before it was finally resolved. Maintenance seems to be reactive rather than proactive. Housekeeping & Amenities: Basic amenities like the dental kit were missing from the room and were only provided after requesting. It’s disappointing that guests have to ask for such essentials. Staff & Service: The day shift staff were polite, responsive. However, the night shift staff were unprofessional and unresponsive. At around 4:00 AM, there was no water supply in the room. Despite several calls, the night staff answered reluctantly — it sounded like the person was half asleep — and casually said that “the water sometimes gets emptied, not a big deal.” This attitude was extremely frustrating and unacceptable. Other Issues: The hotel even charged extra for drinking water, which is quite unreasonable given the overall experience and service quality. Overall Experience: The stay was below expectations due to poor maintenance, lack of basic hospitality at night, and inconsistent service quality. The only saving grace was the daytime staff who at least tried to make things right after multiple complaints.

Food was very good. The ambience was awesome like a restaurant in a mainstream metro. The rooms were average but by the standards of a tier 4 town it was manageable.

Terrible stay for me and my friend family . Nowadays The entire management is engaged with their banquet and party’s activities and not bothered about the guest who booked for the stay. Very poor and pathetic service. No body is there to listen even. Bathrooms are so dirty toilet sheets have yellow/brown spots with bad smells .beddings have dirty spots perhaps not cleaned for a month and are not supposed to be used by human beings and same even is for the bath towels with full dirty spots as same like bedding’s. We were not able to sleep upto 1.00 am and feeled that we have cheated by the hotel and also by MakeMyTrip. For six rooms with 15 persons only a single soap in each room was provided without any toothpaste.The hotel doesn’t deserve an association with MakeMyTrip trip . Please look after it very seriously to avoid your prestige’s and reputation. At present this hotel is worst and nobody at site is serious about the guests.Myself had earlier also stayed in this property since 2021 but now it is totally horrible. Rain water while raining comes inside one room and lateron it was changed by the staff after making complaint to them we suggest all the persons not to book this property at any cost.Thanks with regards

The hotel rooms are well-maintained, spacious, and clean. The restaurant serves excellent food, making dining here a real pleasure. While I usually encourage trying local cuisine for a variety of flavors, on this occasion I highly recommend enjoying your meals at the hotel restaurant itself—you won’t be disappointed!

Food was ok but restaurant manager doesn’t know hotel policy and initially insisted on ordering particular food and didn’t tell about food options and quantity available. Overall average experience.

होटल की लोकेशन विंध्यधाम मंदिर से 1 -2 km है। होटल के टॉयलेट गंदे थे, साफ करने के लिए बोलने पर बताया गया क्लीनिंग सर्विस इस समय उपलब्ध नही है। request करने पर रूम चेंज करने के लिए मैनेजर ने बोला लेकिन दूसरा टॉयलेट भी वैसे ही था। बाथरूम में brush, toothpaste , handwash , soap, saving kit , bathroom slipper, इत्यादि नही था। रूम में blanket अलमारी में रखा हुआ था। बुकिंग मेरी per रूम triple occupancy थी। एक्स्ट्रा बेड उपलब्ध नही करवाया गया।बेड के नाम पर दो गड्ढे दिए गसे थे जो जमीन पर बिछाने थे। पीने के पानी की दो बोतल दी गई उसके ऊपर 50 Rs चार्ज था हर 1 लीटर बोतल पर। पार्किंग स्पेस अच्छा है। सामने बड़ा लॉन है।खाने का दाम बहुत अनुचित रूप से ज्यादा था। रूम में केतली, कुछ लाइट और छोटी मोटी चीज़ें या तो टूटी हुई थी या खराब थी। होटल में लैंडलाइन सर्विस डेस्क से कनेक्ट नही था। आपके दिए गए मोबाइल नो पर हर बार कॉल करके बोलना होता है।मेरे कमरे का तो डायल टोन ही नही आ रहा था। मैनेजर का स्वभाव rude था थोड़ा। ड्राइवर के लिए रूम जो उपलब्ध था उसमें बहुत मच्छर थे । सब मिल कर प्रॉपर्टी अच्छी थी। मेन्टेन्स बिल्कुल गड़बड़ था। सर्विस बिल्कुल बेकार थी।रेट सर्विस के हिसाब से बहुत ज्यादा था।

Retreat का रेस्टोरेंट और रूम सर्विस बहुत विचित्र है, उनके टॉप फ्लोर पर रेस्टोरेंट है जिसे शायद उन्होंने किसी और को रेंट आउट कर दिया है। मैंने फैमिली फंक्शन के लिए 11 कमरे बुक किए थे इसलिए मैं चाहता था कि नाश्ते खाने और रूम सर्विस का बिल एक साथ जोड़कर लिया जाय, लेकिन चाहे 1 कप चाय लें या एक बॉटल पानी वो लोग तुरंत बिल लेके पीछे दौड़ने लगते थे। मेरे ये भी बोलने पर कि मुझसे एडवांस ले लो लेकिन वो टस से मस नही हुए । ये बहुत इरिटेटिंग एक्सपीरियंस था ।

Location - 2/5 food - 5/5 amenities - 3/5 services - 3/5 due to kumbh, roads leading to this hotel were all congested.

Stay was good & comfortable / staff were very cordial / cleanliness can be improved

Service is very bad i have order morning milk tea around 9am but the restaurant reply milk is over now and i will not accept order

So bad experience because no clean room and no brackfast...😭 no towels and no kits and no any help desk...

Hotel staff and management were non cooperative right from checkin and rude. We wanted partial cancellation but it was not done. We left the hotel after 1 day, although we had booked for 2 days, thereby we lost the room rent of 1 day even after vigorously following up with mmt as well with hotel management. Our trip was spoiled, and we returned back with haunting memories. Thanks team makemytrip for spoiling our money and wasting our trip of a senior citizen.

Location and food was good. Improvement in cleanliness and housekeeping is required. Behavior of staffs was good but security personnel were not well behaved. Services were good

Family trip for couple of days. This hotel is around 2 kms away from the temple. Rooms are spacious and clean. They have restaurant which provides good food options (slightly costly for the location.

This hotel is located close to the temple premises and so very handy, but breakfast is very disappointing so either you opt for no breakfast or look for other options around.

The hotel is near 1. 5 km to mama vidhyanwasini temple, ample parking space, supportive staff and smooth process, meal and snacks are a bit delayed but rest is excellent.

Experience was very bad. There was no curtain in room, untidy place, food service also very bad, delayed delivery of food.
