The Retreat Hotel & Convention Centre

The retreat was always on my bucket list. It has a wonderful location surrounded by one of the scenic beaches of north Mumbai. Amid-st the popularity of the resort, i didn't find it worth the stay for a family. The swimming pool was not operational and mm t had shown it was operation. That was the biggest disappointment. In spite of advanced booking they didn't allocate rooms beside each other or not even on the same floor. This are just basic things we look for when you travel with family. The access to the beach has time restrictions and they close the gate at 6. 30 pm. I mean even the sunset was at 7. 30 and the only best thing operational at the resort also had restrictions which were uncalled for. Well, the stay was average, looking at the previous photos it was like what if the pool was operational, what if i could access the beach late till evening and many thoughts kept coming while leaving the resort. Also according to its prices, i didn't find that worth for a one day luxurious stay for a family! thank you

The stay is amazing. We stayed there for 2 days and had a peaceful stay. The resort give the view of the the sea from the rooms having the pool facing rooms. The only concern will be for few who are not accounting’s to the dried fish smell, as this stretch has the the dried fish area near the sea. However the The Retreat Hotel & Convention Centre has taken all the measures for the same inside the The Retreat Hotel & Convention Centre. One may come across it only outside the The Retreat Hotel & Convention Centre. Over all ratings room -5/5, food5/5 it’s a little expensive, but the taste is awesome. Over all stay 5/5

The property is located in madhu which is slightly on the interior side. The approach road isn't well maintained though they are working on it now. The stay at the The Retreat Hotel & Convention Centre was good. The staff is very courteous and polite. The food is decent. The property is close to the beach but wear a mask while going to the beach to avoid stench. My 1 yo son enjoyed in the toddlers room but it needs to be maintained. The only negative was that the rooms are connected with each other via a common door. Overall, the experience was good.

1. Service was good. 2. Staff is very polite. 3. Room allocated - smoking room was selected but no such room was available. 4. Food - common choices were not available eg. Fish n chips. We ordered chicken sizzler - was very odd, very dry & no sauce. *5. On sun-day morning at 9 am we were asked to check out at 10 am. Sun-day was our day to relax* *overall - disappointing experience _

The resort is beautiful, clean, and completely safe for family outings. The reception, staff, service, food everything is excellent. The only one negative point is the dried fish smell which comes in the pool area. There is no smell inside the rooms. But it is a beautiful place with good amenities, play area for kids and games for adults and i shall visit this place again and again.

The location of the The Retreat Hotel & Convention Centre is good except of the dry fish odour which is terrible especially if you are visiting before monsoon. Otherwise the The Retreat Hotel & Convention Centre is good. Good is also excellent but in alacart the menu us very limited as per the The Retreat Hotel & Convention Centre standard. Hygiene too is maintained by the staff.

The rooms are clean and neat. The staff is humble and cooperative. The best thing is a super clean pool. It has a small pool for babies, and my baby just loved the pool experience. Also, they have a play area for babies. Steam service is excellent. The only problem is the breakfast. Limited options and taste are not up to the mark. But overall a satisfying experience.

The pool view room on the higher floor was tidy and clean, with lovely views of the pool and the ocean. Buffet lunch at tangerine was good and dinner at oriental bowl was also good where the portion size were reasonably large. Certainly will recommend for their hospitality from each department and immediate attention to requests.

This place is perfect for a mini vacation. The property is very well maintained and the staff is so friendly. The greenery around the property is so relaxing.

Food was very testy staff of The Retreat Hotel & Convention Centre is very polite. Supatb location love it way on the see beach is beutiful. Cliness is very good

Hygiene was well taken care. Breakfast was really good.

Good place to relax. The swimming pool was huge and life guards were always around. As it's close to the sea, there's the smell of dry fish around. For such a huge The Retreat Hotel & Convention Centre there could have been more seating space in the restaurant. Guests had to wait for 15-20 minutes for want of seats.

It's a very quiet and peaceful location and the view is amazing. The service was also good. Would surely recommend going here. Looking forward to visit again

Pool side rooms offer a beautiful view of the pool and sea through the coconut plantations. Well maintained rooms. Good food. We had opted for the breakfast buffet

Excellent me and my wife had stayed for two days at the retreat and it was a great time, well maintained rooms amenities and excellent staff. There were some minor inconveniences but they were resolved promptly. Would be surely looking to stay there again in the future.

Nice place to spend time. Excellent swimming pool surrounding area. Entry from beach to The Retreat Hotel & Convention Centre is allowed till 6:30 pm ; suggest same should allow upto 7:30 pm. Suggest The Retreat Hotel & Convention Centre should add fun games in club house

It was a great experience. Though the initial room allotted was not good but then we were upgraded to executive room, hence nothing to complain.

The The Retreat Hotel & Convention Centre had great ambience and wonderful food. The pool was big and clean too. Service was nice and warm from the staff

Good location, food, hygiene and safety standards. Can improve on breakfast spread and quality.
