The Satyam

A decent The Satyam to stay in Kalyanpur area. The front desk (Mr. Manish) was very accommodating as I had a plus one and arrived later than scheduled, he graciously opened his adjoining bakery to provide refreshments at the late hour we arrived. The downside being that the The Satyam is still under construction and the bathrooms still need a bit of work (leaking faucets and lack of hot water). The room service needs to be kept in line as he was demanding Rs. 100 for just showing us the room. For travellers who would like to visit IIT Kanpur, this is the best place to stay as it's just a 1 km away. Overall, this place is a fair bargain for the services provided.

I was at a official trip and want to stay away from traffic area. This was a nice The Satyam. Room was good : small but nice & clean. In that price it was nice. There was no breakfast before 10AM, only tea & biscuits were available. This was the only thing I didn't like. Clean rooms with AC, TV with less than 1000Rs. Room service was there although I didn't like the taste too much but it was OK. There was better and bigger rooms with little bit extra charges. I can stay again in this The Satyam. And one more thing there was no wi-fi. Staff was good.

Stay was OK, low profile. On the highway very near to IIT Kanpur. Food was very good, staff reliable and cooperative. If you have stayed in hostel in college, you may adjust well. Conveyance is easily available.

The Hotel Satyam is really good for its services from staff and Management towards guests whom they accommodate. Its location is very useful for reaching there from anywhere or to reach anywhere from the The Satyam for the transport facility available in the locality. Food quality is also good.

Satyam The Satyam is a good place to stay here.. Room condition and service is good. Easy to move out anywhere from here. So if you are going Kanpur then visit once you will get a great experience. Have a pleasant visit.

Hotel is under renovation so corridor was dirty. Hotel kitchen is costly as per location and city. Hotel situated on main got road, I find it very easily. Drinking water tastes was not good. They don't have RO so please take packed water.

If someone is looking for a neat and clean vegetarian The Satyam near IITK it is pretty much convincing. The rooms are not very excellently kept but it is manageable. The food is good. Overall it was a nice and a bit compromising stay.
