The Serai Bandipur

The serai bandipur is a fantastic and a luxurious property built inside the bandipur forest area. However the last 10kms distance from the forest road-mangala village-resort is the most difficult task for a driver ) you have to cross some bad roads and paved stone curbed surfaces for the last 10kms of the distance. The property is huge and they welcome all the guests with their traditional drum beats which is quite unique. We booked residence during our stay and it was quite exotic. Nestled among the forest area, one could spot deers, indian gaurs, peacock and peahen's and even elephants within the property. The food quality and services are very good. They have a good play area with activities for the kids. You could also rent a bicycle and roam within the spread across property. We liked our stay at this resort very much.

The serai is one of those rare places that stay true to its billing. It really is a lap of luxury in the midst of nature. Gorgeous campus and accommodation. Amenities could be better maintained e. G. The swimming pool + games area. And perhaps guests could be offered better quality cycles. But overall, as an experience - completely worth your time and money. Food quality was great, not just the a la carte, but also the breakfast spread. Perhaps information about the different services available to guests can be highlighted better e g. We did not know what the nature walk would cover and where it would take us. I'll definitely be visiting again.

Our experience overall at Serai was fantastic. The service and the staff are exceptional and take care of all your needs. The resort is huge with a lot of amenities, we thoroughly enjoyed our nature walk with the in-house resort naturalist! The room was very spacious with a nice sit out area and a lot of complimentary stuff. Breakfast options are plenty, and the South Indian food was very good. Their coffee and baked goods need some improvement, though. It was a short visit and we missed out on the safari, but would love to return someday in the future for the great Serai experience. 🙂

The serai resort is a very good place to relax and rejuvenate yourself! the food ambience and experience was amazing. The only drawback is that they don’t provide - jeep safaris (only cantor safari is available and that too if less people are there they cancel it at last minute) and they don’t even help you with buying the tickets, as the safari ticket station is veryyy far from the property it becomes difficult to travel so much for buying the tickets.

We had an excellent stay in the serai bandipur. Pros: luxurious resort and comfortable rooms, balconies with lush green view, great hospitality, good breakfast spread, nice spa and gaming facilities. Cons: restaurant and bar timings should be extended. Last 10km road to the resort is very bumpy. Overall, it was a great experience. The wildlife safari was decent and we were lucky enough to see a tiger in the afternoon safari.

Stay was great. Amazing property and location. Just the approach road could have more sign boards on the way to guide first time visitors. Rest the food was great, awesome ambience. Only con is that there is very little time difference between check in time and safari time. Should give more time in between. Rest everything was awesome.

Very good. The stay was pleasant. Room was clean and amazing. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Breakfast buffet can be improved.

Stayed for one night in courtyard superior. It was worth it. The rooms are big and airy, bathrooms equally spacious. The view from balcony was towards the mountains. Staff was cordial and always willing to help. The breakfast spread was good covering all the cuisines. Overall, must stay for the staff friendliness and amazing property.

The room is very good, but food can be better. The checkin time is 2pm and the lunch time is till 230pm which can be improved.

Location is great. Surrounded by lush greenery. It’s very serene and peaceful. The staff is very courteous and helpful. Service is very good. The safari is 45 min from the property which is pretty far, that’s the only con. Otherwise great experience.

It was a decent stay experience. No where we felt it was wow. Overall hospitality was lacking. Rooms were comfortable with a good view. Food was 7/10.
