Wonderful ambience with good staff. Food was good and they serve variety. Stay was convenient with spacious balcony and the compound was well maintained.

Mixed. This time it was not the same as we experienced earlier. Not a 5 star experience any more. Missed wake-up call , missed promises ...

We had a fantastic stay here! The location is excellent, and the hospitality is top-notch. The views from the restaurant are simply breathtaking. The rooms are neat and tidy, making for a comfortable stay. The morning nature walk was a highlight, and we even spotted some beautiful deer in the surrounding area. The breakfast spread was delicious and extensive, and dinner was great too. Overall, a wonderful experience!

Right from checkin to check out the experience was awesome! The staff were extremely professional and polite always ready to help and care for. This is our fourth time here and the place is ever green...literally. The views of the hills is magical. Food is delicious. Nothing disappoints. Will be there again!

Please book safari and spa in advance. Food is average, order local dishes . Archery was charged for 6 arrows, it was strange. You can call the place a 3 to 4 star — definitely not 5 star

Property is good. Road to Serai Bandipur is bad. Please contact the property for alternative route. Food is good. In one of the meals the Seasoning was off in all the dishes. Other meals were good. Staff is polite and helpful. Property is good. One of the rooms had problems and flush did not work.

Everything is good. However, it would have been worth the money if they included lunch and dinner in the package.

I stayed in their Residence rooms which is the topmost…not worth enough for the money. Need to drive far inside thru bad village road to reach Serai, but the views are not worth. The experience at reception was too bad, they have no idea about how to talk to customer…felt like we reached a typical bureaucratic village office. The property is not a great attraction for people stayed in five star resorts. It was raining they were not ready to provide buggy service. We had to call and fight for getting an umbrella every time, the receptionist mockingly said you can buy umbrella. The breakfast was not tasty. The cashew kept in room was of worst quality. And Bandipur overall don’t have any attraction other than the jungle safari conducted by forest. Driving to Bandipur and Serai was a waste.

It is located in the buffer area of Bandipur. May be there are only 4 luxury properties here including Serai. Do not go with the expectation of this being similar or Serai Chikmagalur. This being inside the forest area, it is meant for wildlife enthusiasts. A large number of spotted deers come visiting the resort every evening. Peacocks too. We didn’t opt for safari so can’t say much about that. Food was top class. Overall it was a good family time we had

The location of the resort in the forest is peaceful and awesome for the stay. For the children play area the eco friendly bicycle drive avails in the resort, from the room we can see the forest and animals like deer in the open area. Only thing is we want to book the room and experience it, the tiger safari too. The manager and everyone in the resort were treated well.

Very well maintained property. Excellent services and management. Food selection and quality is also very good. The play area and activities can be improved . Overall a good experience.

Food was delicious. The location of sanctuary (the restaurant) was awesome. We spotted some wild boars, deers, peacocks during our nature walk. A bit of maintenance is required in the amenities. Please add hi-tea. More indoor games like badminton court for kids would be appreciated. The mobile internet as well as wi-fi connectivity is very limited.

The property is truly a good place to stay and switch off from the busy city life. It lets you breath fresh air and spend quality time with your family. The best part is the no network zone which allows you to explore the nature and give yourself the time to calm and relax.

The property has an amazing view of Nilgiri hills. The restaurant has some of the best resort food I have tasted. The rooms are very spacious and nature walks are a must.

Good location, excellent staff, well maintained. The stay was awesome. Restaurant is good too, with a very good spread for breakfast. Choices for lunch and dinner had few limitations especially for vegetarians but was ok. The property is awesome for bird watchers. Very relaxing experience! The property also provides booking for the Bandipur forest safari with a tie up with the government but not confirmed ahead of your stay. One safari is generally guaranteed by the Serai Bandipur team.

Had a great stay at Serai Bandipur. Rooms were spacious, staff were hospitable and location was excellent - adjacent to forest and we were able to spot deers peacock and variety of birds from our room! Wide breakfast spread and nice food too.

Seems to be overpriced. Food is not good. The forest area is also very dry in this season. Room was not well maintained, it was clean but things like slippers were missing. I have been to many luxury getaways / resorts / hotels but for the amenities / services they provided, this one seemed to be overpriced
