The Serai Kabini

The property is very well maintained and location is also superb, just by the Kabini river. We stayed for two nights on 12th and 13th October 2024 to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The staff were very courteous and also arranged a cake to celebrate 🎉 The approach road is muddy and can be asphalted ,though I was told it belongs to the govt. and not owned by Serai. The breakfast buffet was very nice and includes a live counter. The rooms are in seperate cottages and quite spacious with an excellent view of the river. There is no TV though as i was told people come here to relax and detach from digital media. The property also has an indoor play area , gym and swimming pool. The nature walk and coracle ride which were offered as complementary was quite good and thanks for the same. Also we took bicycles and rode it within the property. Overall we had a peaceful and serene stay and felt very rejuvenated.

Our stay at the Serai, Kabini was nothing short of indulgent, with such a welcome from Salim who described not only the property but also the locale and what we could do there room. The room has a breathtaking view of the Kabini river, its beautiful river bank n gardens with hammocks inviting you to unwind and relax in style❤️ The food was par excellence with a willingness to accommodate any extra asks 😃 The pride taken by the staff, specially Shekhar each time we got back from r safari and told them about the spotting . Thanks for an amazing time, felt really good n spoiled . Serai will be back someday soon🙌

Great location and view. Rooms are very average nothing great. Food and service was good. Buffet breakfast was good. Not exceptional though. Raghu from restaurant unit was great. Really made sure that any minor issues reported were addressed immediately. Byre gowda at the boating point was again very helpful with kayaking support. Swimming pool was not maintained. For the price they charge, they shud have safari or boating complementary. But it's all chargeable.

We stayed here for 2 nights and had a great time. We opted for the keep jungle safari which was a good experience although we did not spot any tiger or leopards. The property is located right at the banks of kabini river and is extremely scenic. All the staff were very courteous and ensured we were well catered to. We had all our meals at the resort and the taste as well as quality of the meals was good excellent. Must visit place!

Luxury redefined at the serai kabini. Very good property near the backwaters of kabini. Very close to the jungle resorts where we can travel for jungle safari. We sighted the elegant indian tiger on the safari when we went on the morning. The resort has some activities like boating, kayaking, cycling etc. Food is nice as well. Great experience

The serai kabini is a very beautiful resort to stay at by the banks of river kabini. The food there was very good. The rooms are very clean, luxurious and all the staff is hospitable. I had a great stay. I would recommend staying a minimum of 2 nights.

Stay was good. Water safari was a surreal experience. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Suggestion: 1. need more storage space in the room. 2. Could have some evening activities within the resort. 3. Too many bugs in the indoor play area.

Wonderful property, the staff were generous and always approachable, good food, property located right in front of kabini river making it picture perfect, good choice of place for couple of days stay and get away from the busy world

Very good resort with best hospitality.

Stay was pleasant, nice atmosphere but food was overpriced and safari was good. Bill breakup was ambiguous but one have no other option to get on a safari apart from booking a room in one of the resorts.
