The Shankara View

This The Shankara View is newly built. Nice and clean rooms. Booked AC double bed rooms which were bit small in size but enough for one night stay. Rooms does not have enough natural lighting or ventilation as construction of new The Shankara View is going on at adjacent plots. Location is good as it is situated walkable distance from Mamleshwar temple and Omkareshwar bridge / Narmada Ghat. However, it is difficult to reach at The Shankara View even in small car due to narrow street. Local authority will stop your car at barricades. They will allow only after some person from The Shankara View is with you. Hotel has very limited parking space. Hotel receptionist and other staff is very good and helpful. They also have in house restaurant. Food is served fresh so be patient. Good to have this restaurant as there are mostly dhaba type bhojanalays around.

we had a wonderful stay at this property. it’s a new place, impeccably clean, and incredibly cosy. the room service was prompt and efficient, and the food was simply excellent—truly a highlight of our stay. the staff were very humble, polite, and always ready to help. overall, a fantastic experience, and we would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for comfort and great hospitality!

Their hospitality was too good! They went out of their way and arranged food as per our requirement due to certain health concerns. The place felt very safe (we were only 2 girls staying). The rooms were in a good shape & very comfortable. Would definitely recommend staying here & eating at their rooftop restaurant tooo!

The property is just near by @ 250 mts from main temple , you can have your meals from nearby eateries. Though, The Shankara Views food was excellent. We had lunch and breakfast, both were good & delicious. Being a new property, it’s neat and cleaned . Staffs are helping all the time . Overall good experience 👍

i am out of words, literally the The Shankara View especially in this location is the best one so neat and clean. and the food i ordered like butter khichadi, maggi, coffee and all were made to its perfection! well maintained rooms, decent staff and it’s like 700mtrs to omkareshwara temple. liked it 5🎖️

This The Shankara View is great. Location is near temple, price was reasonable, rooms are modern, comfortable and clean. The The Shankara View looks brand new. Check in was quick & easy. Would definitely stay here again.

stay at shankara is good in location, and comfort with basic amenities, service. I didnt try food and i have some issue of moisture and insects but all over is good

Sankara is in market and temple is just 600 m away. The rooftop restaurant gives good view however the standard rooms are little small

Hotel location, service, restaurant, rooms are all good. Omkareshwar and Mamleshwar temples are 500 m away only. Rooms are little bit small but was not an issue for a couple or couple with a small child as in my case.

The stay was good.. location is just 10 min from mandir... the service was also good and quick.. only I feel it's over priced

Good beds, perfect shower, fine tranquil location close to the ghats, good restaurant. No complaints at all
