The Siena Village

We stayed in this property for two days. Room: We booked a suite which has a duplex structure with a living/dining area on the ground floor and bedroom and balcony area on first floor. It features an ensuite jacuzzi in the attached balcony which is very nice. Room is nicely and tastefully decorated. Bathroom: The bathroom was clean though a little small given the size of the room. We faced a problem of dirty water coming out of taps on very first day of our stay which took approx 1.5 hours to fix which is unacceptable. My son was in the jacuzzi when this happened. I asked for at least 2 buckets of hot water so that my son can clean and come out of the jacuzzi. They didn't provide till the problem was fixed which was good an hour or so. It is horrible. Front Office: Front Office person is not customer friendly. Restaurant: The restaurant is a little small. If you want to have good view, you should sit in the first-floor sitting area. Breakfast is server a la carte and takes some time to serve. However food taste and quality is good. Staff: All the staff except for one front office person(noted above) are good and courteous. Landscaping: Beautifully landscaped with mountains surrounding it. You should get up early and catch glimpse of sun rising from the mountains. It also provides a very distant view of anariyankal dam reservoir view. Munnar town is 15-20 kms away from this resort and goes through gap road where road construction work is going on. So plan properly as this road is closed from 6 pm to 6 am, there are alternate routes though. Resort also has an ATM right in front of it. In short, the stay was pleasant except for the water issue and front office person behavior.

This The Siena Village is located 25km away from the munnar town. Pros -good looking rooms with front facing sit-out -quality food -picturesque lawn & ambience -courteous staff members -they do have their own garden. Guests could give some time to visit the backyard garden. Cons -pricing a bit costlier when compared with these kind of properties in munnar -there is no regular cleaning of room -limited buffet spread for this kind of pricing -dining area is a bit congested -located away from most of the sight seeing places -the road to reach this property is full of potholes & this makes tedious travel if your there for a frequent visit to & from the property -there are only 3 restaurants available around this property. They are mostly congested during peak meal hours. So one has to depend on the sienna village’s in-house restaurant for dining. Overall this a worth place if one needs to take a break & relax in the property without making to the sight seeing spots.

1. The property is in chinnakanal and right behind stands mountains, giving a beautiful view. 2. The property is nearly 23-25 year old, but garden is well maintained. It is very beautiful. 3. Rooms have some old furniture which needs to be changed. There is no refrigerator provided as mentioned in mmt. Only good part is they are infront of garden giving you a beautiful view 4. We got a hot water kettle on requesting. 5. They have gas geysers, so need to waste a bucket of water before you get proper hot water. 6. They have a common kitchen for veg and non veg which is common across properties in munnar 7. The support for any kind of issue is good 8. They have a cardamom plantation which is worth visiting it has a treehouse as well. Vegetable garden is a disappointment. 9. They have pooltable, table tennis and carrom. There is a camp fire every night with music, which is awesome. 10. Overall a decent stay, nice view, need improvement in room, service is good.

Room # 401 was given to me. Duplex room - living room at the ground level , bedroom and bathroom at first floor level with a balcony view of the garden and mountains. Room had broken door fixtures that needs to be fixed. Internet will be provided only if you ask for it. Doesn’t work inside the rooms. Food gets 5 stars here. Had dinner and the breakfast here. Both were excellent. Room service- 5 stars. Kids play area needs renovation. Well maintained lawn and garden area. Getting to the resort was troublesome as the roads were under construction. Stones, rocks, sliding mud was what I had to pass through to get to the resort.

We booked this The Siena Village on mm t and the experience of staying there for 3 nights was really amazing. The location is beautiful and all rooms have good views - either of garden or of valley or both. The garden is beautifully maintained and is a treat for photography. The staff behavior was excellent and co-operative. They also have a game room with carrom, pool table etc. The breakfast was amazing with a wide spread. On the last day, the manager offered us a complimentary dessert after dinner which was a great gesture of hospitality. Overall, worth staying and would definitely vista again.

We have stayed in this The Siena Village multiple times and the high quality continues, every time it exceeds our expectations. Gorgeous views, amazing rooms, good choice of breakfast buffet, friendly and caring staff. Right from the chef to receptionist, individual attention is paid to the customer. They ensure your vacation is made memorable and beautiful. Lot of small things, add up to your forever good memories and will make your visit a repeat to the same The Siena Village. We have stayed in several 4/5 star properties across india, but siena village is always special and close to heart

My first time to munnar, my friends suggested this siena village. This place is simply mind blowing. Rooms are so comfortable, neat and well maintained. They have well maintained garden, best mountain view filled with mist in the morning, game room available and restaurant is one of the best. And this place is very near to kolukumalai view point. I will suggest someone who wish to have premium stay. 1 think i didnt like is the pool table is not maintained well and cue and balls are in very bad conditions. Pl maintain it. Probably i will be one other guest who wish to be back again.

Very good location. Stayed here with family for two days. One day in a deluxe room and another day in the suite. The deluxe room had an excellent sunrise view in the morning but the suite room was not the case, however the suite is very spacious and has a nice bath tub. I liked the deluxe room over the suite option. The property is maintained well and the staff is friendly. We enjoyed the campfire with music after dinner both days. The only remark is the approach road which was under repair ( no need to blame the The Siena Village.

Food was good, location is great. Staffs are friendly.

Its a beautiful property with the backdrops of hills. Do not expect much in terms of amenities but the food tastes really good. Service and response time is good.

Feel comfort and feel pleasant. Safe place for kids. Had good trip with family and kids enjoyed lot. Kids play area can be improved little. But over all 10 out of 10.

The resort is located in chinnakanal and offers an excellent valley view. The resort is rich with greeneries and you will die taking photos out there. The property is beautiful and well-maintained service is prompt and courteous. Breakfast has good variety and taste. Munnar town is 15-20 km away from this resort but the travel from the resort to munnar is exceptional.

We had an excellent stay at the siena village, munnar. The property is very good and beautiful. The staff are also polite. rooms are very neat and clean. i hope everyone checks out this property if they ever come to munnar. the best part is this property is located besides club mahindra and sterling resorts. so you can imagine how good this property will also be.

Good environment, well hospitality by staff's. Feel more comfortable. Food are good quality. Rooms are maintained well but size of the bed not adequate

I had a day's stay in sienna on 22nd april i liked the room, facilities like walking area, park, camp fire, parking, friendly staff and the entire property was neatly made up with beautiful scenery, food especially the breakfast was too good i thoroughly enjoyed my stay even though it was for just a day

We had an excellent comfortable stay at The Siena Village, Suryanelli, Munnar. The property is beautiful and you can settle down here with amazing views. I highly recommend to stay in this property and shall definitely come back again.
