The Sierra - By The Lake

I was initially skeptical about booking with them after reading the reviews on MMT. However, to my surprise, the experience turned out to be excellent. The property is centrally located, with all major tourist destinations just 10–20 minutes away. One of the standout features is their affordable rental service for scooters and auto-rickshaws, making local travel highly convenient. The staff is exceptionally warm and helpful, ensuring a comfortable stay. A special mention to Sonia and Nikhil at the front desk for their hospitality, and Sunil and Indu from the housekeeping team for maintaining a high standard of comfort in the rooms. The swimming pool is fantastic, adding to the overall experience. I booked an executive room, which initially appeared small in the pictures but turned out to be spacious, making it ideal for those needing extra accommodation, such as an additional bed. Overall, a wonderful stay—highly recommended!

Pros: The property is very good with luxuries rooms and service. Service is fantastic, with on time deliveries and prompt response each and every time. The staff is also very good Cons: The property location is not at all satisfactory. By its name “by the lake”, it’s very far from lake with no lake view.

The stay at Sierra - By The Lake was pleasant. We faced some minor issues at the time of check in, however they upgraded us to a better room at a small premium and treated us too well. The staff behaviour was nice, food was excellent and last but not least the rooms were very spacious and cozy..

Great well maintained rooms and we even got upgraded to the best room available! They truly made our stay so comfortable from front desk to housekeeping to the food everything was perfect. We couldn’t have asked for anything more

Its a good The Sierra - By The Lake with a good intent to serve but just a little bit of fine tuning will help. The room was really nice, clean and cozy. Decent amenities. Adding a few ird options in morning time should help

Location within 10 min auto ride from old city.. room very comfy and clean.. pool is small but very nicely maintained.. enjoyed the stay at this property.. Nikhil and Soniya at the front desk were very helpful
