The Silver sky resorts

Pros: Stayed with family for two nights. Although a bit pricey, the location and amenities were amazing!! The view from our cottage was breathtaking!! The property was spick and span. The swimming pool was exceptionally clean and well maintained, my daughter didn't want to get out of the pool. The changing room and shower area near the pool is great. Room service was fabulous, they provide an iron box with ironing table and a clothes drying stand on request, staff were always smiling and courteous, food at the restaurant was lip smacking. The buffet lunch spread was fantastic- gajar ka halwa, fish fry, mutton gravy was absolutely delicious 😋 there is a kids play area right outside the restaurant- colorful, neat. Elderly people and kids who cannot walk up-hill to reach their room/cottages could make use of the buggy rides/electric vehicles. We went on an estate walk which was good, bullock cart ride is also available at the property. Cons: PRICE! Only breakfast and snacks included at the booking price. The food at the restaurant was great but a bit overpriced. There could have been a trampoline in the kids play area. If you need an extra bed at the room, it's way too expensive but they do provide extra blanket free of cost.

Our family is already looking forward to returning to this haven in the heart of nature.

We stayed for 1 night in october at this beautiful property about 10 kms away from main chikkamagaluru town. It is nestled amid-st nature surrounded by trees and coffee plantation all around. They do have swimming pool (not temperature controlled, gym (basic, spa (wasn’t in use when we saw) and play area (indoor as well as outdoor. Some activities like rope walking n all are there too. Rooms are modern but the coffee cottage with balcony we stayed it did not have a bath tub. Food is average and can be skipped at the resort. We paid for high tea but it was not great - the chill i b hajji was avoidable. Chicken starters were ok but the chicken biryani could have been better. Nothing great about breakfast spread too, which was part of our package. Staff is courteous and friendly. For per night, it is overpriced and not vfm. Justified cost would be below 9k incl. Taxes.

The room was clean, spacious with a large balcony. The The Silver sky resorts is situated inside a forested area and we got to see a monkey couple of times on our balcony ledge. Some amenities were missing or odd e. G. Only plain water served in room and no mini-fridge for cooling. No hand towels in bathroom, shower drain appears to get clogged quickly leading to water pooling with slow clearance. Wifi was decent as access point is inside the room. Tv service was inactive bur got rectified. Food was good and room service speed was reasonably quick, however oddities here as well. Knives were missing from cutlery as apparently they don't supply them in the room except for the one time they did. There is no premium for food in room. Overall experience was positive and i would stay here again. Just some rough edges need to be polished.

It was a very nice stay at silver sky. The serenity suite is simply awesome. Location of the resort is perfect. It’s at top of the hill in middle of small forest and coffee plantation. Staff is quite friendly and always ready to help. We stayed in serenity suites and our experience was awesome. It’s a big suite with all modern interiors and amenities. Bathroom was specious and our kids loved the jacuzzi. Restaurant food was also above average. May be they just need to improve a bit on buffet varieties. We had some concerns on the 2nd day when a very large group came and resort was at full capacity. We felt that staff were unprepared and inf-act there was water shortage also next morning. This is an area where management must look into. They are probably not self sufficient to run the show with full capacity booking.

Location wise best resort in chikmangalur as we stay almost in middle of coffee plantation. Food at restaurant was good as well. We ate 6 meals at resort not once we felt bad. Rooms are good with nice layout and views from balcony. Plantation walk was organized and they showed different tree's of coffee, pepper etc swimming pool is very well maintained along with whirlpool facility (not temperature controlled) staff was very much co-operative and always greeted us with pleasant smile as resort is located inside of plantations there is nothing much to do and resort should have organized small activites. Location : 5/5 food :4. 5/5 amenities: 5/5 activities: 3/5 overall : 4. 75/5. I very much recommend this resort and would stay again if i visit chikmangalur again.

We made booking through makemytrip app for 2 night stay at silver sky resort 0n 27th to 29th may 2023. Stay was good, excellent food, beautiful location between coffee plantation. One night at dinner we complained about a dish quality, immediately the chef came to our table and apologized about that and next day he prepared two dishes worth more than double amount of the previous dish and handed over while we vacating the resort, great hospitality. One negative thing is the location of swimming pool, it lacks in privacy of the guest, we felt price for resort also little bit expensive, thank you

Hv stayed with my family in silver sky resorts. Room : fantastic and location was good. Well spacious room. Wash room are clean and hygiene. Since we came from chennai they had activated tamil channel in our room room service and food : good. Pool : very good. Ample parking for car don't miss the coffee estate walk. Is very useful, am sure you will get good info. Travel partner app u : for local sightseeing: excellent guy. Concern: delay in cleaning the room. Mm t involved and sorted out. Thanks to mmt. Overall a good stay. Recommended others to use this property.

Highly recommend this place to anyone who want to stay near chikmangalure all the tourist places are easily accessible. The staff is helpful and ensure you have pleasant stay.

Really beautiful resort. Highly recommend. Very rich in nature and has a lot of acres of land. Food however was mediocre.

It was very silent, cool and calm place. Service is very good. They have good staff. Food is good. They have some activities which you can avail in resort. A must recommended place.

Great property. Nice cottages. Inside the jungle, which gives you real feeling. Can wake up in morning with birds chirping. Decent swimming pool and club.

It was great stay. Landscaping is awesome. Just pure nature. The chef was very humble to prepare desired food even at odd time. At a time i found restaurant staff too rude to talk n behave. I had to scold them for same. Swimming pool don't have shower cubicle n dress code. Should provide napkins in bathroom. Otherwise overall great experience. Beautiful place to stay.

The silver sky resort location is awesome, far from the hustle and bustle of town. The property excellent and well maintained. Rooms are really good and amid-st the plantations. Food is really nice and staff are friendly and take good care. Swimming pool is good and enjoyable. Overall a perfect resort for a weekend getaway.
