Good vibes, good staff as well as awesome experience with this hostel

The place is clean and hygienic. The reception is available 24*7 for any issues and are very prompt to resolve it.

I stayed one night at The Social Stays hostel in Rishikesh as a solo traveler and really enjoyed the vibe. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was social, and the location was great for exploring. I’m giving 4 stars because the bed felt a bit small and I couldn’t sleep comfortably, and the hot water from the geyser didn’t last long — it kept switching to cold in between. Otherwise, it’s a nice place for a short stay and good value overall.

Property is good and it is easily accessible by any kind of transportation and I am satisfied with the facilities. Highly recommended

No toiletries were provided and towels were not clean. They have not even provided a water bottle for the deluxe room and there was no vibe. Even the receptionist was very unhelpful.

The property was good. I liked the rooms quite a lot. Cozy and well furnished rooms. The washroom was clean and hygienic. Could include some other things like live music to keep up the vibe. Also some additional dressing mirrors in the room outside the washroom so that people can get ready even if the washroom is occupied.

Stay is Confirmtable, clean N good

First of all the Location is so difficult to find for travellers travelling via car. Second, they charge you for towel's, who does that? They charged us for towels, There was no intercomm in the rooms, for everything we had to call on the centralized numbers. It was mentioned that we will get complimentry Hi-tea but to our surprise they dont serve hi-tea either. Also, the timings mentioned on the Hotel Page for the Hi-tea are 4 am to 5am. Who would wake up at 4 to have tea?? The Hotel had a strange policy for everything. It was mentioned that breakfast will be served from 8 but When we enquired about breakfast, Boom one more surprise, the kitchen staff comes at 8 and they start serving by 8.30. Also, there was capping on the amount of food one can have. There was nothing mentioned of this sort at the time of booking. We adjusted there as well, and asked the chef to prepare paneer paratha for our group(2 paratha each for 6 people). in the morning when we went for the breakfast, we were surprised yet again when we were served with aloo paratha and that too only one each. And when we asked for more items they asked us to pay for the other items. Also, the reastaurant Sitting where people had to eat food was right beside washroom pipes and the place was literally having poop smell all around. Over all, this was a pathetic and full of adjustment thst we had to make. People were rolling joints in open in the hotel, where it was clearly written that it was a no smoking area. It was a total disasterous experience.

Property is close to Lakshman Jhula. Reduced one star because of slow WiFi and dampness smell in the room. Otherwise, the beds, linen and toilets were clean. Water was hot. AC was working though the remote was not OK. Got towels; body wash and hand wash were also provided. Cafe is also OK. Their Paneer Kathi roll is its money's worth. Scoot hire place is just opposite. Overall good stay.
