The Spectrum Resort - Chikmagalur

Room: cozy and has adequate size washroom: its fine balcony: a common balcony in front of the room and at back side. Backside balcony needs to be better maintained. Location: some 800 mts from main road. Parking: its a bit steep, but manageable food: its tasty. On the house high tea in the evening. Complimentary breakfast had good spread and was tasty pool: its clean and well maintained. Wish more floaters are provided for kids. Pool towel also needs to be provided the property is well maintained. Campfire is arranged from 7. 30 pm to 9. 00 pm. Food is supervised by shashank. He is a pleasant and cheerful person who interacts with every guest and seeks inputs. We are happy with our stay.

The resort is quite cozy and cute. The rooms are clean and hygienic. The food is excellent. The servers were a bit confused about the menu, but the chef knows his job quite well. The pool was also quite good, we had a good time in the pool. The only negative i would give is for the service, the people are nice, but they are not proactive and a bit unprofessional. The cleaning of rooms, clearing of dishes used to take a lot of time. We had stored some drinks in the kitchen fridge and at 10:30 pm we called the resort manager to ask him if he could ask someone to get it from the fridge, he said no one is there the staff leaves after 10 pm, this was quite weird.

I had a truly wonderful experience during my stay at the spectrum resort. The property is absolutely stunning, surrounded by beauty and tranquility. The customer service was top-notch, exceeding all expectations. I am thankful for the staff mr adarsh, mr shashank, mr yashwant, and mr tejas are truly humbled and polite and exceptional assistance and warm hospitality. The food was a delightful culinary journey, adding to the overall fantastic experience. I'm looking forward to the opportunity to stay again soon. Spectrum resort is just as what is shown in the pics. Rooms were spacious and clean. We booked the hill view rooms and it was good. Parking space is available. Swimming pool is well maintained. Board games area is decent. Bonfire was available. Food menu were different each day (stayed for 2 nights) rope activities could be better. Special thanks to all the staff and management who accepted all our requests - be it supporting in having a late lunch, travel information and additional beds at no extra cost. Would definitely recommend this place to others.

The stay was comfortable. I was actually scared because i've had experience with The Spectrum Resort - Chikmagalurs that are amid-st the jungle because they can have cleanliness issues but spectrum was exceptionally clean. Their rooms are big, open and their meals are on point. The staff especially is friendly and helpful. I completely forgot the name but the host of the restaurant (he sits on the front desk sometimes too) is an absolute gentleman. You won't regret it. Go for it

It's a good property. Would have been nice if there were long walking paths into the plantation. The steps near the pool to sit were quite dusty. They need to be washed daily. The food was good and the dinner buffet was economical. Room wise - the hand wash bottle was empty the bed seemed strangely slightly inclined towards the pillow. Had to put the pillows on the opposite side and sleep. i've given 5 stars as it's a good property with good people. Hope you'll improve.

The resort is conveniently located to reach the three major tourist interests mullyanagiri, baba budanagiri and kemmanagundi. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Food is simple and tasty including local malnad delicacies. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The parking facility is ample with comfortable access. Overall it's a best option for exploring chikmagalore.

The homestay is situated at a nice place. The service is fast and good. Food is prepared homely and is quite nice. Just that the first day I felt that it was slightly over crowded, since it was Saturday night I guess it should be expected at a place like Chikmagalur. Certainly I would consider going back again and overall I would say it is value money.

Excellent location, just 5 km from city, food was great. I would suggest to select lunch/dinner option you while booking the room. Resort maintained well with amenities. They do bonfire as well but you need to be present at the bonfire location than they will start. We missed it

We have been to entire south india over the span of 30 days and this js one of the best. Destination chilmanglur is simply awesome. Mr. Shashank us the operational manager, mr. Deepak f& b, entire staff at reception to f&b, house keeping and bell boys - simply awesome. Must stay property in karnataka. Thank you spectrum resort & keep going.
