The SSLR

We booked a day at SSLR during our trip to Hampi. We were looking for a family-friendly accommodation at Hampi but owing to the new year rush most were booked and the remaining were charging a premium. SSLR gave us a good deal and although Gangavathy is approx 20 km away from Hampi, we took it. We were pleasantly surprised at the courtesy of the staff, the GM in particular. The facility was professional and warm at the same time. The restaurant adjoint to the The SSLR and belonging to the same proprietor has an awesome crew of cooks and table staff. The dishes prepared were mouth-watering and of a good variety. Pros: 1. Nice hospitality. 2. Restaurant on the premises. 3. Arranges for transport through contacts who are very professional. 4. Rooms are well-designed and with warm furnishing. 5. Flexible timing policy of check-in and check-out (24 hours counted as a day). 6. Family-friendly and very very safe. Cons: 1. Location landmark is highly desired. Hard to locate the place from the main road at night without Google Maps. 2. If traveling for Hampi and staying at this place, prior consideration of transportation costs is a must. An auto from Hospet bus stand to here will be charged both ways. Alternatively, book your bus up to Gangavathy. Local buses ply from Hospet to Gangavathy at very economical rates and can be tried during day time. However, trying them at the wee hours of the morning might be a pain.

While trying to reach the The SSLR , I started getting suspicious, given the location. This place is around 25km from Hampi. But the stay that we got at the price was quite worth it! The rooms are excellent and you get happy feeling of being in a The SSLR room. The reception is also done with fine interiors. They have a 2 p. M. To 2p. Policy for check-in and check-out. But we requested them, and they agreed to make it from 9 a. To 9 a. They also assisted us about the places we could see and how to go about visiting them. The complimentary breakfast was another wow. Loved the food taste. They had an elaborate spread including idli, palak dosa. Aloo parantha, toast with jam and butter, corn flakes, milk, a delectable papaya juice and sweet. We had dined in their restaurant at dinner time as well, and the food was great then, too. Overall, loved the stay that we had.

We stayed at Gangavathi for three nights when we visited Hampi, badami, statical and aihole. Gangavathi is near fly 25 kms from Hampi but has good access to roads with very less traffic. Can be easily accessible if one has own vehicle. Stay was comfort, cozy rooms, good water facility and nice big washrooms. Food was tasty even though we didn't had much options to choose in menu. The people in the restaurant and so nice that they behave so well and see to attend to our needs wells. Only problems we faced was in the reception during early morning check out. The person who did night duty was unaware of how to use debit cards and wasted our one hour even though we informed prior that we need a early check out. That was the only black mark I felt with regard to The SSLR .

The location is not that good because you can't spot the The SSLR from the road. It on a narrow street road. It' has full facilities required nowadays. It has a bar and restaurant, a separate vegetarian kitchen and one other restaurant. The food is really good at affordable prices, but there is not much options in vegetarian category. It has lift and WiFi. Parking space. Accommodation is really good. The rooms are spacious and well furnished with attached bathroom with hot and cool water. The room services are quite good and the staff is very courteous. If you are travelling for first time and using its location on Google maps, it wouldn't be precise. Over an fantastic experience.

Very nice The SSLR for group and family. Rooms are clean and in very good condition with all the amenities. You can have food of your choice in the The SSLR itself and no need to search anywhere. Good quality of food with decent price is available, but you need to order in advance at-least before 45 minutes. Bar and banquet hall is also available inside the The SSLR compound. Really impressed with the The SSLR staffs especially general manager mr. Pradeep, who is very helpful and professional as well and available anytime you contact him. Any problem he is ready to support without hesitation. Had a nice and memorable stay in the The SSLR and really enjoyed the trip.

The The SSLR is on a newly built structure with decent rooms for one or two nights stay. Its located 30 plus kilometers from the Hampi town via narrow country side roads. The buffet breakfast provided very limited options. Its an ideal The SSLR for family people as the Bar, Veg Restaurant and Non-Veg restaurant are completely separated from each other but within the same premises. Over all I would rate my stay as 3 our 5 star.

Worth for money ... Hotel is very well maintained, rooms are clean and good food ... In Hampi, the main city does not have The SSLR s, we need to travel either to Hospet, gangavathi ( and one other place, I don't remember at the moment) .. This The SSLR is in Gangavathi, though you need to travel a bit it's worth a stay here

Over all experience was good, Well maintained place. The location is 1. 5kms from gangavathi bus stand. Location not good near to grave yard. Hampi 25 KMs. But rate wise very cheap & excellent. Good breakfast, very friendly staff, quick response. Mineral water not provided in rooms.

Nice The SSLR , value for money, very near to Hampi. Better option if Hospete stay options not available

The The SSLR is better than it looks in the photo it is worth the money. If you have your own vehicle this is the best place to stay the rooms were clean and the service was quick.

Location is bit far from the Hampi but it's easily accessible. The rooms were clean and the food served was also good. They can improve on the room service part as that is bit slow

Awesome travel to hospete and gangavathi

Maintenance and Hotel is good but for Hampi visit it is too par the The SSLR should be at Hospet from Hospet there are so many facility are there for Hampi. The is. Located at Gangawat is little par For Hampi but overall Hotel is good and foods are also good.

Amazing place. This is little far from Hampi but if you have a vehicle for rent or own then this is the place to stay. Staff are amazing and breakfast was good. It's a total value for money. Would definitely recommend this place. Thank you MMT for giving the best deal.

I had booked the suit room and the stay was very comfortable. The staff are very friendly and the food is also very tasty. Worth the money and i recommend this place.

It was a pleasant stay, nice The SSLR with affordable prices.

We got two double coat bed and that is not sufficient for the family with child's.. Service is very good and it is value for money... Neat and clean rooms... Food quality is good.. Overall nice stay with my family.

Location was not very good but nice property if you are visiting Badami. No good restaurant nearby but The SSLR has in-house restaurant which does the job.
