The Tamarind Hotel

I stayed here for 3 nights 4/12 till 6/12. The overall experience was good. The staff was polite and friendly. The breakfast buffet was a bit disappointing though. Decent variety but not very tasty, just average. I had room service dinner on the night i arrived, and we had a couple of sessions at the bar with some food. The food is on the expensive side, but the quantity is good. The food tastes good, no complaints about the taste. I lost my plastic room key card, and they wanted to charge me rs. 300 for maybe a piece of plastic that is worth less than rs. 5-10. Firstly, they didn't tell me when they made me a new one and even if they had, i would have asked them to take it off. I made them take if off the bill when they tried to charge me at checkout. The average room rate when i stayed was 5k - 6k per night. That is by no means cheap, and charging for a plastic room key is just cheap behaviour. Since i was in a hurry to leave, i had asked the girl at reception to print and keep my bill ready, but she had not done that even after returning to the reception 15 minutes after i had told her to. She printed it only after i insisted for the bill. That was surprising! the biggest complaint with this The Tamarind Hotel, which can be easily rectified is the delay in everything. I had asked for an empty plate to have some food in the room, and it took me 2 calls and almost 30 minutes to get an empty plate. Unfortunately, the swimming pool was getting repaired on the first couple of days of my stay, so couldn't really use it. It was repaired on the last day, and it's a nice pool.

This was my second time at the The Tamarind Hotel and it was really nice. The staff is very polite, friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and tidy. The swimming pool needs better cleaning though. The location really worked for us because it's a 10 min ride to 3-4 beaches, crazy party places and flea markets. Plus the The Tamarind Hotel has a cafe that's open till 3am.

Very good service. The The Tamarind Hotel staffs are very accommodating. Also, the location is really good in anjuna, though not very close to the beach. The The Tamarind Hotel’s own cafe cotinga is also quite famous for its food and breakfast. If you need to rent a car or a scooty, you don’t have to go anywhere, it’s right opposite to the The Tamarind Hotel.

Tamarind is situated at a great location with easy accessibility to most places around Anjuna. The service is impeccable and the staff is very helpful, they also accommodated an early check in for us and also a late room cleaning service. Highly recommend Tamarind for a peaceful and lovely stay.

Room was flawless. Staff was polite. Service was super quick & satisfactory. Hosekeeping services were amazing. Cleanliness in property was commendable. Only 2 negative points or improvement area was swimming pool, since it was not maintained properly & no parking for 4 wheelers.

service was good.. staff behaviour was polite and superb. breakfast is very delicious. there are buffet breakfasts. Also the property is portuguese style. The reception staff is friendly. I will suggest to everyone who want cover north Goa.

The resort is nice and convenient to go different beaches, paara road is near by and anjuna beach is 3 km and baga beach is 5 km and resort has inhouse restaurant and pool, staff is very supportive, overall my stay here is good

It was good stay, but deluxe room is small and partition cupboard is made of wooden work so other room noise is clearly hearing to us.

I had a fantastic stay at the tamarind The Tamarind Hotel in goa. Great location, good pool and delicious food and a good late night cafe running along with the property.
