The Tangerine Resort

After a lot of go ogling and going through different reviews, I booked 2 bedroom cottage for 3 nights here. Overall the stay was pleasant and enjoyable. Pros: 1. Excellent location. It is 5 km away from the busy city, so you need a cab or your own vehicle to get there. As soon as you wake-up in the morning, you can find yourself in the midst of hill range - the very reason we visit Kodaikanal. You can start your day with Fresh cool air, eye catching view, coupled with hot tea. 2. Rooms are spacious, neat and well maintained. Clean bed linens and Bath towels are provided. 3. The staff is very friendly and always smiling. This is very important as a bad experience would spoil your mood. 4. Resort itself is well maintained and has a wide spread. You can walk around in the mornings and evenings. It also has a small children park and 3 bedroom villas have camp fire and private parking. Cons : 1. The complimentary breakfast is not up to the mark. It is limited and normal. A small suggestion to the resort would be to have a dining hall and keep regular breakfast spread and leave it to us to choose. Items like bread, cornflakes, milk, yogart, fruits can be used for 2-3 days. With this they can have one main south Indian breakfast like idli, dosa, poori etc. There is no restaurant here. You have to order 2-3 hrs in advance. They were kind enough to prepare the dinner on the day of arrival at 10 but they told is that we have to tell them 2-3 hrs in advance from the next day for lunch/dinner. Activities are very less. I expected a bit more resort type activities but there are no activities as such. Probably they might add some in future.

Excellent location, good service, generator back up, well managed cottages suitable for families, couples and friends. We selected a 3 bedroom? Villa with a covered car parking. We hired a local cab for touring locally. It is reasonable fare, approx INR 2500 per day for taxi and tension free, because the driver knows all local areas. Manager of the The Tangerine Resort will help to arrange local taxi. Manager is very friendly. Also the local cab driver is very nice. All in all, we relaxed thoroughly.

Had an awesome stay at TLV Resorts. Wonderful location, beautiful villas, Picture perfect garden, good food, Friendly service. I can go on & on & on. One last thing this resort is perfectly made for the people who wants some real break from busy work life. Go there and forget everything. Just Enjoy

The location is excellent. Quiet and calm place. Room service was good. Only issue was with the facilities. I wish they had provided the room heaters, given the temperature was too low. Upon asking the room heater facility, we were told that most of them were not functional and to be repaired.

The location is a bit far away but it is really worth a day's stay. The resort is neat and pleasing to the eyes. Lawns are greenery greet you. The restaurant is good and so is its service. The only problem is post evening it's difficult to come out of the resort.

Everything is perfect ... A bit far from kodai lake but worth every penny spent ... Above average food .. Cleanly maintained resorts ... Recommended for family and group stay .. WiFi need to be improved.

I booked 3 bedrooms villa. And enjoyed campfire which costs extra 1000rs enjoyed a lot, very friendly staff, only problem is language as I'm from Andhra pradesh Must recommend to everyone, best in Kodaikanal.

One of the best resort type suite in Kodaikanal ... All facilities are excellent ... Clean room ... With good attenders ... Its really calue for money .. Plan to coming here again in next year.

Around the property is very calm and peaceful stay. Property also nice break fast nice especially poori&chenna masala restaurant food also good & not too spicy for childrens also tasted.

We went as a family and stayed in TLV Resorts for 2 nights and 3 days. Away from Kodaikanal traffic and awesome place to stay. Service is good. Ample parking space. Kids will surely enjoy this place.

Stay and balcony view is awesome. Staffs are very friendly. Finally its wonderful stay.

Good Location and away from the main city. Exotic view with pollution free atmosphere. If planned to travel with kids please carry basic food items to manage. Otherwise food to be ordered 2 hrs prior. Experience the resort once you will enjoy
