The security and wifi speed is very good. The cleanliness of the room and the washroom is very well maintained. The service boys clean and wash the room and also changes the linen, bedsheets and the carpets every day. Overall, it is a very good experience staying over there and this place is highly recommended to everyone planning to spend a few days in shillong. I myself will not think twice before staying there with my family when again i visit shillong.

Just 5 mins walking distance from police bazar. The place is nicely secluded away from the city noise but close enough to get quickly to the centre when the need be. This place is ideal for people traveling solo or as a couple. Akash is such a wonderful host. He ensured that our stay was comfortable and also gave us good suggestions on restaurants and other cool places in and around shillong. All in all we are super happy with the stay. )

The location of the guest house is at a narrow lane, so car drop is not possible. But otherwise it is right at the centre of police bazar. Shops etc are easily available. Two young caretakers and the owner akash were very well behaved and caring. We only took breakfast there which was good and quite heavy. Rooms were clean with basic amenities. Overall nice stay.

Yes, the location is somewhat far from the main road as the carring of luggages was not easy but the caretaker boy carries all the luggages, that was excellent. Food-was excellent and though we are late at night, they were ready to feeding us, we like the most very helpful. Love you all. Safety was there and the food was hygienic. Hoping for next stay.

The The Tranquil | Rooms in a Homestay is located inside a narrow gully. It's inaccessible by car, but they have stuff that helps with carrying luggage to and from the property so it isn't that big of an issue. The property was well maintained and clean, and the caretakers were very friendly. Overall a good stay

4. Review i stayed there for one night with my friends and family. Hotel is good but it's location is a but inside the town. Hotel staff helped in locating the The Tranquil | Rooms in a Homestay. Room were clean and nice. They need to work on breakfast. Tea or coffee or milk at least one option should be there.

Even if the place is a 5 mins walk from center point, it's a littl isolated. But, the cheaper cost, room quality, cleanliness and ease of food accessibility makes up for it easily.

Location wasn’t good. Not easily reachable

Our stay at the tranquil homestay was very good. The manager was helpful, guided us to reach the homestay. The staff were quite co-operative and assisted us in every possible way. Location of the homestay is nearby to the main market. The food was also excellent.
