The property has heavenly views and a host so friendly that you will keep coming back here. It is a nest for solo travelers who immediately get a home at unmad. It's a very safe place, as a solo woman it was important for me to get that checked off my list. I got all the conveniences in the room! a full size mirror to the wardrobe, a heating pad, hair dryer, extra blankets, slippers- at this cost i wasn't expecting it. Also, the meals that were served were so delicious! my recommendation: do try dal makhni. Do speak to the host, he is an amazing guy, a writer. So speak to the fellow travellers staying there, do join them over the bonfire, you will be happier than you have been in a long time.

I wholeheartedly recommend this property, as its inviting atmosphere, snug rooms, tranquil surroundings, and exceptional hospitality guarantee an unforgettable and enjoyable stay.

Couldnt have asked for better hosts than krishnan and aparna. Always willing to give information and help you with anything and everything be it local food or treks or drawing route maps literally with pen and paper. Homely food from their hygienic kitchen, clean rooms and the view from rooms be it the valley view or the ones with the dining area view. Eyes shut will recommend anyone who is heading to dharamkot or mcleodganj to stay here. The only drawback if you are someone carrying heavy luggage would be the stairs to climb up till the property but the hosts will help you with that regards too if informed in advance.

As a solo traveller i thoroughly enjoyed my stay at unmad. Its in dharamkot, some distance north of mcleodganj. Staff and service was great. Food was delicious (do try their butter chicken and dal makhani. Owners aparna and sakshi were extremely helpful in letting me know all the trekking locations. I couldn't see krishnan since he was away but hope to meet him one day. I would really miss the fireside chats in the evening where i made a new friends who all came from different places. Long story short this place is a must visit if you're planning a trip to mcleodganj and dharamkot. I do hope to return one day.

We were a group of 7 people travel-ling in jun e to dharmshala. We were looking for a nice and calm place to stay and relax. Unmade was the perfect destination - comfortable bedding, clean rooms, amazing views, awesome food, great service and above all a very courteous staff. Mr krishnan pandey was particularly very helpful and supportive. Really loved the quick check-in and check-out process, food ordering was smooth and the place had great vibes. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to enjoy a pleasurable experience amid-st nature.

I was so mesmerised by the view the The Unmad Dharamkot | Cafe | Stay | Coworking provides that it made the stay worthwhile. The inhouse cafe they operate serves you with yum delicious food and the hospitality was something which will bring me back to this place again. The hosts are so warm and welcoming and had a gala time enjoying throughout my stay. The entire experience was great be it rooms, hygiene, food, hospitality, etc. Looking forward to visit this place yet again.

"The Unmad" is situated in upper Dharamkot. Location is absolutely amazing!! Surrounded with lash Green Pine trees 🌲. Morning n Evening view is absolutely amazing. Nature out here subtlety great. Talking about the "Host" Aparna, Sakshi , Liri, Ajay n Amit all of them are so helpful n Friendly. I have made few friends here I guess. My wife n me were so happy to be here. Thank You Guys for making our Vacation so wonderful!!

It was wonderful stay at the unmad. The hosts were very cooperative. The property had very rustic ambience. The surrounding were clean and very serene. Perfect for staycations as well. Only thing which is a bit less satisfying was the food offered in the in-house restaurant. They need to improve on the food part. Rest everything is perfect.

It’s like visiting friends and making new ones. Perfect place for solo travelers, first time travelers, ppl who need local advice and recommendations

We went there with our family including my parents, wife and 2 kids. It is an excellent location away from the crowded and noisy city. Food is prepared fresh for every order. Overall, a good stay. Just keep in mind that you will have to climb at least around 2 flights of stairs to reach the lowest level of rooms.

Location’s perfect, nice food and great hospitality.

Location of the property was scenic, serene out of any cacophony of the city. Yo go and sit there four hours and just enjoy the seer beauty of mother nature

My experience was awesome, the property was very good, staff was very helpful & attentive. The manager of the property was very humble politie. I was travel-led with my family (wife & 1. 5yrs kid) the property care taker was very kind, she was 100% on hospitality.

Hosts aparna and krishna are very generous. Location and view is very peaceful. All amenities are very good. Food is also tasty.

Very cozy, comfortable and peaceful place. The hosts are amazing. They take proper care of their guests. They can also guide you so that you can utilise your time enjoying the beautiful scenic spots in the best possible way. Rooms are clean and they have wonderful views of the hills and the valleys.

We stayed for 2 nights. The owner as well as the staff is very friendly. Very easy going and helping throughout our stay. Would recommend a must visit place when you’re off to mcleodganj.
