The Vaishnodevi-IRCTC Guest House

Location of the guest house is best for pilgrims who would come on a visit to mata vaishnodevi darshan, since you can start trekking to the hill top soon after your arrival in the rely station and catch a train after completion of trekking/darshan. Guest house food is good. However most of the people miss the complementary breakfast, because they have to start trekking before the breakfast time. It is suggested that irctc should make alternative provision for pack- breakfast for guests who have to leave guest house early morning for the darshan. It is also suggested that irctc should increase the quantity of and choices of the menus for breakfast. The guest house had provided complementary transportation to us at 3. 00 a. M. To banganga check post for which i am very much thankful to them.

The location is fantastic, it is situated right at the railway station. Clean, hygienic room (deluxe room) with neat and clean attached bathroom. The room was air conditioned and had a fridge in it. Water and basic toiletries were provided. Electric kettle and coffee tea provision was icing on the cake. We went in with low expectations but were pleasantly surprised at how well maintained everything was. Heater and extra blankets were already provided in the room, though we did not need it in summers. Would definitely recommend to people visiting the city. Complimentary breakfast was included in the room, decent spread.

The room was pretty decent. I got one with a balcony however the door was locked and i couldn't go outside (the trikuta facing view was amazing though. The bathroom was clean but didn't have the basic toiletries in place. They provided a free of cost cloak room which was a plus. Food was okayish, they have a few options to choose from. The staff was courteous and gave me two food coupons as i had booked a double occupancy room. Early check in is subject to room availability so keep that in mind. Location wise it is close to prepaid auto stand so you can basically travel wherever you wish to. In all, 3/5

Staying at the vaishnodevi -irctc guest house, katra for a long weekend and overall had a great experience. One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional service from the The Vaishnodevi-IRCTC Guest House staff. They were always friendly and willing to help with anything we needed. The rooms were also very comfortable and well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay. One area where the The Vaishnodevi-IRCTC Guest House could improve is the breakfast offerings. While the food was good, the selection was a bit limited and there were often long lines to get foo.

Great safety.plus point you can get GPS entry card for Ma Vaishno Devi yatra without worrying about huge like from the railway station itself. Rooms where good but a bit pricey. You get the convenience of shopping within the stay area and deals are great trust me. Food at the canteen is good. You get complementary breakfast and pick at drop for Yatra. One minus point was the doors were of glass and see through with curtains though but not appropriate for girls as we need to change. Rest all good.

Best part of irctc guest house is that it's just inside the premises of katra railway station which is very convenient for those who are traveling by train. You don't here the platform noise inside the room. Very neat and tide. Food is good. Staff is very cooperative. Pick and drop facility is again a plus pont. One must experience these a stay in reasonable price. Gentry is good. Thnx for this facility indian railways.

I with my family stayed in katra for three nights. Irctc provided good services in all the ways. It was good to-do shopping at the same place. We purchased many things from there. Food station provided good services and food was also good. Washrooms were neat and clean. Guest house location very nice. No need to go out of the station. They provided free services to reach to places. This also i liked.

The locationnis awesome, it's at katra railway station. Facilities are good, having a shopping complex. While returning after darshan and you have catch train on return journey this is best The Vaishnodevi-IRCTC Guest House. Irctc catering is also avaible. Overall good and worth stay. They have lockers free of charge and you do not have to carry luggage to bhawan while treking.

Nice stay blessed by mata rani. Neat and clean rooms. Good aminities nice staff restaurant is near by all meals are at reasonable price

It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient.

Hotel is at the katra station itself rooms are very clean. Service is good. The canteen is available shich provides breakfast. Lunch and dinner. Food is good. Transport easily available for movement within the city. Overall a good stay experience

It was nice to stay at irctc guest house. Clean and spacious rooms, helpful staffs, availability of good food at reasonable price. Washrooms should have been little bigger.
