The Venus Residency

Good points: - the room was clean - located in a good location, easily accessible through autos and cabs. - has restaurants and tea/coffee shops nearby (must try briyani from hyderabad briyani house, kebab from kebab corner and dos a in the breakfast from kebab corner) - about 1-1. 5km from ooty railway station & bus stand - auto charges 80-100rs. For one way. - staffs were polite enough to let us keep our luggage even after checkout, because our return bus was at 10:30pm at night. - try to ask for rooms with a balcony, for a wonderful view. Negative points: - hot water for shower is available only between 6am to 11am. So in case if you're checking in after that, be prepared to take a cold shower, that too during winter. - the glasses provided were slightly cracked, and when we asked to change it, the staff refused. They might not have extra glasses and plates. That was disappointing. - each floor had one water can dispenser only, thankfully with warm water option available.

Clean room and bathroom, located at center of ooty. Only few kms to the destinations. Recommended for couples.
