The Village property in Mysore is a great place for a family outing with its serene and tranquil surroundings. The property is well-maintained with lush greenery and open spaces. The rooms are spacious and clean with scenic views. The staff is courteous and helpful. The food is good, but with limited options. The property is conveniently located near major attractions in Mysore. The swimming pool and outdoor games are perfect for kids. However, some guests have complained about mosquitoes and slow service. Overall, a pleasant stay with a few areas for improvement.

Awesome

It is one of the best places i've stayed at. Starting with the location, we liked almost everything about the place. It is very near to the palace and other shopping areas, zoo and the aquarium and yet it is secluded from the city crowd. Since it's on the foothills of the chamundi hills, reaching the chamundeswari temple is also not difficult. Food was also good. The breakfast spread was not that great, but not bad either. Overall we loved the meticulous design, landscaping and the interiors of the resort. Most likely would stay there for a couple of days more on our next visit.

We enjoyed our stay at the village in mysore. The resort is beautifully maintained, our 2 year old daughter had plenty of place to run around, enjoyed the small outdoor play area. The pool was clean and functional. The restaurant stuff was very helpful and prepared kids meal mostly according to instruction provided all the major city attractions are close to the resort so its easy peasy to go sightseeing and get back to The Village for lunch / rest for the little one. We will stay at the village again when we revisit mysore.
A relaxing vacation

We had an extended weekend stay at the village resort. It's truly worth it. The landscaping was amazing. Surprised to find so much of lawns and greenery in the city. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. A nice pool to soak in. The resteraunt food was good. The staff all very helpful. It's close to the zoo and palace but you won't feel like it's in the city though. Go ahead. You won't regret it. Plus you can take hundreds of pictures against beautiful natural backgrounds. Lots of happy memories

the village resort is beautiful with lush green grass and trees and plants of different varieties ,best place for a calm and relaxing environment, breakfast good, however lacks in room service otherwise a good place to stay and enjoy nice ambience👍. its located in the foothills of chamundi hills , and therefore is a central place from where you can visit all attractions of mysore ,as they are near from here.. nice place to spend time and relax ,away from the hustle bustle of the city
Good ambience

The property is well laid out. The gardens are very beautiful. If you are travel-ling with young children there is plenty of play area and also a game room which is well stocked. The complementary breakfast spread is excellent. The bathrooms are clean but a little tiny. The location is very convenient. Close to the airport as well as the palace. The palace was extremely crowded and the crowd was also badly managed. Just avoid the palace visit if you are going on a holiday.
Value for money

Good resort with beautiful green lawn and big swimming pool. Outdoor and indoor games are nice especially the cricket net, basket ball and kids playing area. Tea snacks and breakfast were really good. Rooms are very spacious and clean with a big balcony though it's looks little old. Overall outdoor is nice to click pictures where you can get the background of chamundi hills. Overall it's was a superb stay and my family enjoyed the stay over there
Good for family stay

It is a nice property with lots of greenery, well maintained lawns for kids to play. it is close to mysore palace and other attractions. breakfast buffet is not very elaborate but good. The only cons were they charge you ₹42 per litre of water bottle, apart from the complimentary 2 bottle. They made us wait one hour even though we had requested for early checkin. no welcome drink, customer service can be improved. Good for a family stay.
Very good resort for stay in Mysore

I was surprised when I got to know that thus The Village is more than 30 yrs old, unbelievable, as I'm a frequent visitor to Mysore and never came across this resort. It's a very nice resort, very well maintained, very humble and courteous staff, nice food and good rooms. They don't serve and allow consumption of alcohol except inside room with our own stock. Overall had very good experience, recommend it for family and groups.
Excellent Stay

The resort is located in a good location outside the city. Room is good. The most positive thing is their food. Breakfast was really awesome and staff serve food with smile. Pool is maintained well. Only problem is parking, since they give parking space for outsiders who come only for food, we some times don’t get parking and have to park outside.

Overall positive experience

One of the only drawbacks is there should be more veg and vegan options in the menu. Friendly staff, good location, nice place with a nice garden.
The village- urban resort at mysore

This property is architecture in a village style (to large extent) and within few km from city center. Rooms were well furnished and hygienically maintained. Restaurant too served variety of cuisines, except for our rural cuisines. Sprawling lawns with trees, sitting area, party arena was quite impressive.

It is a good property with well maintained greenery. Breakfast buffet options are limited and thus they should improvise on it.
