The Village Heart

There are lots of really good things about this The Village Heart . The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The The Village Heart provides soap, toilet paper, towels and bedding. The The Village Heart is in a small village and is very close to zones 1-5 of Ranthambhore National Park. Breakfast (bread, jam and bananas) was included in our room price and the staff were flexible in providing it super early before we went on safari. The village does not have any restaurants, dhabas or shops (other than a few stalls selling tobacco, nuts and sweets). The The Village Heart have a dining room where they offer freshly cooked meals that were all delicious. The setting for eating food was lovely - You felt like you were in someone's home. Food takes quite a while as it is all made fresh to order. We found that ordering lunch before our morning safari and dinner before our evening safari helped. If you order at meal time, you can expect a long wait - 2 hours for us one day. The staff are very keen to make your stay special and are very helpful - almost a bit too much. They stay and watch you eat dinner to check you are enjoying your food - which is sweet but also a bit strange and unnerving. They also wanted to know exactly where you were going every time you left the The Village Heart , which got a bit wearing after a while. They offered to arrange our safari but we had already booked through the park. The The Village Heart is very far from zones 6-10 of the park so although the safari does pick up, if you are in those zones you may lose some park time in transit. We were given a room with an air con unit although we booked non-AC. On our second day we found out - by accident - that we were expected to pay extra for this, even though we hadn't used it. We worked out a deal with the manager and said we would not use the AC again and he would waive the first night's additional charge. Overall, the rooms are good and the staff are very helpful. I would recommend this The Village Heart if your safari is zones 1-5 but if you are in zone 6-10 you are better off staying in Sawai Modaphur itself. Stock up on snacks in the town as there are no shops in the village - and expect very pleasant, helpful (if a little too over eager) staff.

I had a fantastic 2 night stay at The Village Heart for a day of safaris in Ranthambore. The The Village Heart is extremely close to The Park gate which was nice for efficient trips in and out of the Park. The room was clean, The food was great, but The best thing of all was The staff. The manager, Gulshan, did everything he could to make my stay memorable. He enthusiastically helped me with everything I needed, and even dropped me at places around the area free of charge. Best of all he booked me on some incredible safaris. 4 tigers and a leopard in just one day! He seemed to know exactly which zones would be best. If you're looking for a pleasant and convenient budget The Village Heart in Ranthambore with great service, look no further. Stay at The Village Heart.

Hotel is located in a pleasant village, a 30 minute taxi from Sawai Madhopur train station and an easy five minute walk from the entrance to Ranthambore National Park. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. Food was delicious and good value for money! The owners and staff were all incredibly welcoming and friendly, and ready to help with any requests. As we were the only ones staying there we were waited on hand and foot, with lifts offered to the Fort, and a guided tour of the Natural History Museum. We even got to meet and have tea with their families! A great The Village Heart for a fraction of the price of many in the area, perfect for budget. Highly recommend!

I had visited Ranthambore with my family. This place is a good option for people who don't want to spend much on The Village Heart s. The rooms are clean, The staff is well behaved. And most importantly they serve very delicious food if you order from there. It's totally Worth every penny, homely food with rajasthani touch in it. It was really a great stay.

Nice traditional food, The Village Heart staff is too decent and helping nature. It's located near the Ranthambhor forest area and very beautiful view from the The Village Heart . Thanks for the rememberable experience and hospitality.

Stayed here for 2 days. Food was awesome. Only veg available. Rooms are clean. Very close to zone 1-5 entrance. Their team is always ready to help. Good place to stay in Ranthambhore . Price too reasonable. Good for family.

Good service, okay food and quite near to The Ranthambore Fort and National Park.

The plan is sudden and so the bookings are. But luckily got this place to make our stay awesome. Food is really delicious and management behaviour is also good. Overall excellent experience.
