The Westend

The room was not worth for what was charged. The bathroom was having a stinking smell though it was cleaned. The balcony and the chairs was not cleaned at all, it was very dirty, It seemed this was an unused or dumped room and was made ready when the guests were more. Infact, i saw the same thing happening to the next room. I tried checking most rooms in floor 2,3 and 4 all the bathrooms were stinking. Looks like there might be better rooms in first floor, which I did not get a chance to check as they were all full. On the last day the AC got repaired in the room and when it was up there was an issue with generator only in my room, so we were upgraded to a room. Though the room was good the smell in bathroom was worst. Also, the lift has issues in 2nd floor. The kitchen needs more staffing has everything was delayed even coffee in the breakfast. But no complaints on the staff from front desk to cleaning staff all are helpful.

The West end hotel is extremely shabby, dirty with towels greyish in colour and fraying The bathrooms were worn down tiles were discoloured Taps were leaking The refrigerator was broken down Breakfast had nothing only fruits Westend hotel is totally avoidable

The room was very small, we had booked for three adults.They gave a bed which was similar to the mat and it had to be placed near the front door, blocking the entire pathway.., literally paid for three and received facilities of two.

Good property to stay. The rooms are part of the apartment house. Food options are good. Booked two rooms and got a 2bhk house. Staff is good and helping. No issues with hot water in the shower. Ample parking space for 8 cars

In the hotel description, they had not mentioned about unmarried couples not being allowed, but the receptionist directly said us that unmarried couple are not allowed, which was way more disturbing since it was Ganesh Chaturthi and we were supposed to get ready for the festival in the hotel room as the relatives house was occupied with lots of guest. We travelled from Kerala to this hotel west end. At first, my boyfriend had checked in and was waiting for me in the room, and when I arrived, the receptionist claimed that unmarried couples are not allowed. Also, my boyfriend said that the room was very tiny, the sheets, dirty and lots of hair in the washroom. I request the management to maintain the rooms as the price is very high. We opted this Hotel considering its price, with an assumption that more the price, better the room. Later we checked in another hotel nearby, which was beyond perfect, the name of the hotel is Aman International.

Excellent Hotel with great Staff Room was clean and perfect with all mentioned amenities working and upto the mark. Hotel located at close proximity to the beach and market. Our 2 stay included different breakfast options on each day having diverse options We also had eaten in the inhouse restaurant and the food was excellent

Stayed for 24 hrs. Good location, comfortable room, tasty food, pleasant and helpful staff. Good view from the restaurant. The hotel is located close to the Karwar beach and easily accessible from the highway.

Hotels location is nice but they need to maintain everything. There were many mosquitoes in the room.

The rooms were not clean and well maintained. They gave us a hard time to even provide a refill of the mosquito repellent. The restaurant in the hotel is the worst. We went there for dinner and they took 1. 5hrs to get us 2 food items. Taste was also not good. Overall it was 1 of the worst places i have stayed in and even though we stayed only for night, we could not wait to check out.

Average stay close to the beach and at the main junction. The building and interiors are pretty old. Breakfast has extremely limited options. Coffee and tea are from the machine. Not worth the price.

Shabby hotel, smelly rooms, poor housekeeping and no toiletries. No hand towels or decent shampoo. Walls were damaged and discolored with water seepage. Tv did not work and no one attended to it despite reporting it. No working phone in room. No room service at all
