The Westin Chennai Velachery

It appeared like a small property on the pics and had to choose because it was very close to phoenix mall, but am very glad that i chose westin. From the time u enter the property to the time u leave you feel cosy and warm. The checkin is easybeesy, and you are guided to your extralarge well equipped rooms with a lovely restroom and a large bath tub. I took an extra-bed and still the room had a lot of space. The breakfast is one big spread, it's more of a brunch, with fried rice, chicken wings to live pancakes& waffles, dosa, appam, poori, eggs to order and coffee, u just don't have the space to taste them all though they are so appetizing. Really happy about my choice of westin. Cheers to many more wonderful and relaxing experiences with you all.

Good location. Courteous staff. Spacious room with king size bed. Staffs are attentive. They answered our queries or requests promptly. The downside- food is very average. Especially south indian food is very poor. Overall, the breakfast spread needs more attention. Rooms are not meant for family with kids. I don’t understand why these people have not installed latches in the bathroom. The latches may cost 100 rupees. If you go with kids of age above 5, you may not have your privacy in the bathroom. In our room, we had 3 doors to access bathroom. ( i think westerners don’t hesitate. ) otherwise good The Westin Chennai Velachery for couples or solo travellers.

Hotel is well accessible, located in the heart of velachery. Properly maintained guest rooms, bathrooms. Clean and well furnished The Westin Chennai Velachery premises. Good restaurants. Professional, friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended for stay near within 30 minutes of airport. The The Westin Chennai Velachery operates three diverse restaurants, two of which we visited during our stay. The multicuisine restaurant buffet could do better with cold dishes but south indian dishes were amiable. The pan asian mkc was a highlight with diverse and underrated dishes listed in its menu.

I had the pleasure of staying at the westin, velachery for 2days/1night this may. Booking was seamless through make my trip. Hotel staff were polite, prompt and helpful. Rooms exceeded expectations with the availability of all essential amenities and more. The breakfast provider started early and was a wide spread. As a person who has been in and out of chennai for the past 6 years and have stayed in many The Westin Chennai Velacherys in the city, i would highly recommend the westin, velachery to anyone travel-ling to chennai.

The The Westin Chennai Velachery was great. Room was spacious with a lavishly big window and a great view to enjoy with a coffee. Bed was cozy, linens were great. Bathroom was very nice and clean and huge too. No unwanted disturbance. Deal with breakfast and dinner with a complimentary Spa session was worth it. Food was excellent staff were courteous. The only drawback was a couple of staff were impatient and not courteous on more than one occasion. Overall a fantastic stay experience. Would visit again.

Everyone is replying well and good in this The Westin Chennai Velachery and that’s the main we travellers wants as first. Beautiful room and nice food they’re providing. Starting from the most awesome guy anand ( nearby entrance ) upto manger. Everyone is awesome. They value you as a customer not like other The Westin Chennai Velacherys now a days. Everything is money for other The Westin Chennai Velacherys. If you want a good place to stay in centre of chennai. Westin is one of the best.

I booked westin stating for 3 adults clearly . When i went to check-in the The Westin Chennai Velachery staff mentioned that for the third person there is an extra charge that i need to pay as it is one of their conditions. I just don't understand why it is not revised and updated It is clearly miscommunicating the guest to book a certain The Westin Chennai Velachery which is not the actual pricing. I am not satisfied on this regard.

Great staff n service that traveller needs

I stayed with my family @westin velachery, chennai for 3 days. We loved the fact that the The Westin Chennai Velachery was conveniently located closer to several places of interest (phoenix mall, tiruvanmiyur beach etc. The staff were courteous and the child was treated with extra care during the buffet breakfast.

Staying in a The Westin Chennai Velachery after nearly 8-9 months. Was little hesitant to stay in a The Westin Chennai Velachery considering safety, but everything went well from the start. It was a good stay, fantastic rooms, well sanitised, clean n excellent service. Simply enjoyed the stay. Good 2 days

Perfect stay with care service and safety. In room dining food quantity varies each and every time which need to be consistent on all days so that we can plan the order accordingly however this does not create any big issue to us. Everything is fine and good

Overall westin makes a good attempt to maintain the safety standards and reassurances through the leaflets in the room. The dining areas could help with some distancing guidelines.
