The Whey Side Homestay | Rooms & Pool

Nested in The midst of nature The Whey Side resort is a beautiful place to get away from The city's madness and let yourself be one with The outdoors. I visit The resort in December along with my family which includes my little pup tyke. On arriving there, we were warmly greeted by The owner. He is a wonderful person and if you ever strike a conversation with him be sure to go back with some words of wisdom to ponder on. Coming back to The resort The cottages are placed beautifully. Clean spacious rooms overlooking The mesmerizing Western mountains. If you are having a pet you can rest assured for them and you its paradise. The food is great and I would like to thank The cooks for laying out such a delicious spread. So if your thinking of booking this place just go ahead. You will love it. If you are a pet lover you will love it more. So pack those bags and head for The Hills because sometimes its where you find yourself again.

Peaceful surroundings. Except when the power cut happens. Then the dg may give some background noise for the first villa. Rustic and basic property. Housekeeping within the room is good. Outside is average. But staff is warm heart-ed and friendly village folks. Host is friendly and helpful. Lots of local pets. For any per lover it's nice way to spend a few hours. Dogs, cats, parrots, cows. This is place to just chill. Do not expect hundreds of activities or tv channels. Food is local cooked and very basic homestyle. Fresh and cooked with love. Served in a open basic college canteen type area. Fussy eaters and kids will need some adjusting though. Tea coffe service not available within rooms. That is as per canteen hours.

We stayed for the new year's eve. The property is in a very peaceful location. The cottages were neat and clean with all facilities. Good for a long weekend stay. The owner come caretaker (mr. Venkat) is an amazing person. He takes care of the guests and the property very well. The food is very tasty. The staffs are very friendly and polite. Good choice if you want to stay away from the city for a while.

We found the place, great and peaceful. The host is friendly and helpful. Rooms could have been cleaner. Food is tasty but service is delayed. Lunch was served at 2 pm , snacks after 5 pm, dinner was served post 10 pm. There was no dedicated reception area, so you had to walk up till the owner’s house for all small service that you require. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

A quick getaway from the hustle bustle of city. This place offers a relaxing stay, good homely food and amazing view from the room. No matter which cottage you select it offers view from all sides. The staff is very cordial and polite. The owner of this place stays right there and is a very jolly person to talk to. Definitely a must visit for couple, family & friends.

Overall stay was very nice. Peaceful location. Staffs were well-behaved and helpful. Food was good in quality, but they could add some more variety. Clean and decent room with the basic facilities, except only the hot water facility, they should provide that for 24 hours. Security arrangement was good. Property was value for money.

I had made a booking for a wrong date and the host was kind enough to accommodate the date change without creating any issues. The property is good with a serene view. The helpers were very considerate and made jain food for us at a very short notice. Overall a very good stay

We really enjoy The vacation in The Whey Side. perfect service. Delicious food. Peaceful location. Big rooms with two beds. Special thanks to The owner, he is very polite, he treats every customer like his family member.

Located in an off place cut out from usual traffic and crowd this place is amazing for a weekend getaway

It's a great Weekend place if you are looking for a short drive from Mumbai a place close to nature. Quite a scenic place along with home cooked food and its pet friendly.

Great as a farmstay. Home made food, great views of the sahyadri hills. Basic rustic interiors.

Properties location is good. Food is the best part. Hygiene is well maintained. More lights in room is required and mirrors are not present in room
